Eugene was charming, informative and talkative during our tour and ride to the ranch. He informed me that I may have a private ride due to a family of 6 already on tour. Apache, the tour guide and owner of the ranch took me out for my ride and it was truely amazing. This was the highlight of my trip

It was a great trip. We really enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately, we never received the pictures that were made and that we were told would be sent. We were really looking forward to seeing those.

On 7th June my daughter's and wife booked the small horseback ride and island tour in Aruba but through Viator back home despite the fact that none of the group having any previous experience at all with riding horses. We confirmed the booking a couple of days before through the tour rep at our hotel and arranged a 6am pick_up using the paperwork printed prior to travelling here. At 6am transport arrived with driver Rodney an extremely friendly chap and a colourful character to boot. After a 15min ride across the island we arrived at el paseo ranch where we were introduced to Eugene, Rodney s brother and he quickly ran us through basic instructions on how to steer/ride his horses safely. We mounted our chosen steed and then set off on the trail around the island. As novice riders we were relatively slow and my horse'known as captain led the way from the girls. Let me add I am no Clint Eastwood and this was not my comfort zone but with Eugene and brownie the dog for company as well as my intelligent mount I never once felt unsafe or uncomfortable even with one of the stirrups temporarily cutting in to my shin. We walked the horses over the peaks and on a trail across to the other part of the island catching the early morning waves and breezes as they crashed up against the shore. The route led us back to the ranch lasting over an hour whilst Eugene ran along taking photographs. The girls enjoyed their first experience particularly when I fell out the stirrups discounting at the end which was apparently hilarious to them all. We would sincerely recommend this tour no matter how much experience you have horseriding and would like to thank Eugene, brownie, princess, eartquake, blanco and the captain for the experience and Rodney of course. If you are doing a tour on the island this is the one to do and we only wish we had shown more appreciation to Eugene at the time but we are learning fast! Thanks again and we hope to see you again!

Beautiful ride through Aruba! Very low-key but a great way to see both sides of the island.

Eugene our guide was friendly and knowlegeable. The ride itself was great. unfortunately our guide took many pictures that he promised to send to us via email that he has not done. This was our honeymoon and thus a very important trip to remember. His inability or unwillingness to follow through on his promise is very disappointing and has marred an otherwise good experience.

My wife's horse couldn't keep up with the other horses and the guides only stopped once or twice for her, so almost the entire time she was left behind and was scared she'd be lost in the park. In addition, there were a LOT of bugs and mosquitos the entire ride, and with Zika issues in Aruba, they should have stressed the need for long pants, long shirts, bug spray, etc which they did not.
