The wine and Cava tour was great! Our tour guide was very informative without making the day feel like a school field trip. The vineyards were beautiful and the host of the first stop prepared a delicious spread of traditional spanish tapas that was the perfect amount of food for the afternoon. Highly recommend this tour.

Tour was very informative, fun and wine-centric (wine was delicious). Our tour guide, Elena, was amazing giving us historical context of Barcelona, Cataluyna and the wine regions we visited, she was also very entertaining with her Game of Thrones references/ comparisons and her sock game was strong!

It was a super nice tour with the best tour guide and best team ever. Thanks, Viator!
Btw, I left my blue coach umbrella on the wine tour bus, it is possible to get it back?

Really enjoyed the winery tour! Although at first deceiving, since one is near an industrial area both wineries were beautiful to visit. We learned a lot about the making of the wine and cava and history of the area. We had a great group of people that all enjoyed each other's company. Lorenzo was a great tour guide!

This was our second wine tour and by far our best. Simon was awesome. He was very informative and helpful. His knowledge of the history of wine as well as the winemaking and Cava process was great.
I would recommend this to anyone who would like to visit smaller winery's. They were both very personal and attentive. You could see the passion in what they do.
Loved it.

Really great guide, friendly and informed. Comfortable bus. Great food and wine at each winery. We really learned a lot about wine from Spain. Highly recommend. Great value for the price.

I highly recommend this tour! We were a family of 4 joined by another couple, so a very intimate experience, to two stunning old family wineries. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Simon, our guide. He was extremely informative and went into great detail about each vineyard, the history behind each family, the wine making process and tasting. He also gave us a very detailed history lesson on Barcelona during the drive to each winery. This was worth every dollar and much better than any tour I've experienced in Napa or Sonoma. If you're looking for a tour with character and old charm, this is the one for you!

Would absolutely recommend this tour! I really enjoyed the cava tasting in the morning, scenery and wine tasting and tapas at the second winery. Each location had a very unique feel. Both guides were enthusiastic and helpful at providing a lot of information.

I cannot say enough good things about this tour. I think it was the best tour we could have selected in Barcelona. Our tour guide, Victor, was very knowledgable about the local wines and wineries he designed the tour. He seemed to place a great deal of his passion and knowledge into his talk about the tour. We had a semi-private tour for 6 for the first winery. We have been on wine tours in Napa, Sonoma, Niagara on the Lake, and others. I feel that this was one of the best tours I have ever been on possible exception, Christopher Creek Winery in Healdsburg, CA. One of our tour participants did comment that we had a larger selection of wines in Sonoma, and I cannot disagree. However, for the knowledge of the local wines and the education in wine tasting, I believe this was the best tasting tour I have been on.

This is a great way to spend 6 hours! Very informative and absolutely stunning wineries with a drive past Montserrat which is just breathtaking. The Tapas were ample and tasty, but very basic. The cava was delicious but the red was not to my taste - It was very young wine and quite sweet, but nonetheless very enjoyable overall. You will be very well taken care of with very friendly and passionate guides - we had Alex and he was a superstar! For a great fun day, leaving you a little tipsy you cant go wrong with this. If you are after fine wine and food, then you will need to spend more money - but worth looking at this company for alternatives as they were fantastic!

This was a lovely trip, I enjoyed the scenery, the mountains and vineyards, the cava and wine tastings were great.

Wonderful setting, beautiful atmosphere. 1st stop on the tour was great - lovely tapas and cava sitting in the sunshine. 2nd stop at the castle I felt was a bit of a let down. Only able to try 2 wines , cheese to go with the wine was incredibly small portion for a large group of people.

Its a good tour. You get exactly what it says. The guides speak English and give you some history of Barcelona as you head out. The buses are clean and the rides aren't too long.
The first winery is in an industrial section but once on the premises you don't mind much. This winery also has a bit of interesting history. You have the opportunity to buy some of the Cava.
The second winery is more along the lines of what you would expect from a winery in Spain. Great views bring a camera. Maybe I missed something but we didn't get an opportunity to buy the wine from here which was a little surprising.
Barcelona can be a little crazy, this was a nice break from the hustle and bustle.

We loved Clara and thought she did an excellent job. She also recommended some restaurants to us that were awesome. We thought it was a great overview of wineries and the process of how it was made. Both wineries that we visited, shipped to the US which was a plus too.

The wineries and the wines were very good. Our guide, Lorenzo was very knowledgeable, but bordered on rude at times. He rushed us around to keep on the schedule.

The tour leaders were great! Simon was an excellent guide and he did a great job leading the group. He was also very well educated on wine and made the experience worth doing. The first winery cava was excellent and deserves 5 stars, however the second winery castle was not quite up to what we expected and deserves 2 stars. The winery felt more like a profit seeking enterprise versus a true winery experience. During the tasting, the owner of the winery actually walked into the room and did not acknowledge any of the guests. It was not a warm experience and the wine was not very good. If you want to learn about winemaking with nice views then I would recommend the tour, however if you want a more authentic Spanish wine experience, with good tasting wine, I would take a different route.
