This trip meet all our expectations and more. Gwen was a very knowledgeable, fun and friendly guide who quickly established a rapport with the group. Each Château guide was also knowledgeable, approachable and made us feel very welcome. We had lunch in such a beautiful setting with a very tasty five course meal served with two different wines from the Château. The tour was well paced and allowed people to stop for photos, gelato and an end of group drink. We appreciated the small group size and the personalised manner in the way the tour was led.

We really enjoyed the bike tour, the chateaux and chais visits and the walk at the gorgeous village of St Emilion. Our guide Yan is nice and knowledgeable. Chateau Siurac is amazing and the lunch in the garden was just perfect. We learn a lot about wine and the region. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I took this tour and absolutely loved it! For an adventure to the countryside, none could be better. While we are not cyclists, we managed the nine miles well. Our guide was knowledgeable and most helpful the Chateaus beautiful. We did not know much about wine, but learned much on this most enjoyable ride through the French countryside. If you are looking for a day in the country, this is a great way to spend it. Wonderful company and guides!!

The tour was fantastic, and our guide was extremely knowledgable and fun!

The lunch was delicious and way more than I thought it would be. The wine was amazing as well, with the chateau selection showing the wide variety this area has to offer. Great tour.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this tour! We got there very early to make sure everything was in order and were greeted by extremely friendly staff who assured us that we were definitely good to go. From there, the guide handled everything very well, even all of the little mishaps along the first few minutes of the bike ride. The chateaux were gorgeous, the vineyards were amazingly beautiful with the fall colors, lunch was absolutely delicious, and the wines were very enjoyable we bought two bottles afterward. We took a stroll through the small, medieval town after all of that and then got restaurant and wine bar recommendations on the way home. All around, it was an absolutely delightful excursion and my favorite part of my 2 week trip to France. Even my husband agrees, and he can be a tough guy to please! Bordovino is the best!

Excellent value and so much fun. This tour is an entire day of fun times. We rode bicycles all over St. Emilion, had a gourmet lunch and learned about wine, vineyards, history etc. There are a couple of decent sized hills on the ride, but our bikes had gears, so that made it easy. The wine was fabulous and our tour guide was great. He made sure that everyone had a great time on this tour. Highly recommended.

This was the highlight of our 12 day trip. I was a bit nervous at first as my husband and I are "ride around the neighborhood" kind of bikers. It was perfect! A bit difficult in places but I was very happy to say I only walked my bike in one very steep place. It was the highest point of the ride and definitely worth the effort.
Lunch was very good and had lots of fruit, cheese, meat and pasta choices along with 3 bottles of wine and dessert. Good thing there were 9 of us.....the most difficult part of the ride was behind us and we were a happy group from this point. the winery was very informative and well worth the visit. We learned a lot about Bordeaux wines and wine in general. There were several photo ops along the way. The path was mostly paved, very safe and picturesque. Oh, and the wine was Delicious. :)

All in all, a fantastic day!

I recommend this tour to anyone in average to above average physical condition.

If you love wine and biking, DO NOT miss this adventure! The people who run the tours are professional, well trained and caring. Our tour guide was unbelievalbe. While traveling, he discussed the region as well as wine making and tasting. We learned so much! When we arrived in St - Emilion, we picked up our bikes and spent the day touring the vineyards, riding on country roads, sharing lunch at a French farmhouse, touring one of the best vineyards in the region and, of course, enjoying excellent wine. We ended the day with a tour of St-Emilion. What an amazing medieval town! Do not hesitate to book this tour. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic trip, it is pricey but is definitely worth it. Lovely in small groups with a great lunch. The trip is small enough so that you get to know eachother as well as the chance to talk with the guide. Biking through the vineyards is such a great experience and really makes you feel like you've earnt your wine and got the most out of the day. The ride ended up being longer than advertised, I think our trip meter said 26km but I'm not very fit and haven't ridden in ages and it was ok, only 1 big hill.

The only negative is that you hire the bike in Bordeaux then need to fit it on the train to go out to st emillion. I think that if there is no way of storing bikes out at st emillion they should invest in a trailer and drive with the bikes out there as I know they already have a shuttle bus. The day does end up being very very long and with our train delayed on the way there then we thought it wasn't coming on the way back (though turned up unexpectedly - others had been at the station for over an hour) this seems like a risky way to run the trip.

Fantastic day despite a few rain showers (in July!). Our guide was brilliant, gave a real insight into the wine making process and history of the area. We also recommend seeing the vineyards by bike as you get to see everything more closely and at your own pace, we thoroughly recommend the tour.

The guide was excellent! Its the best way to know St Emilion, the vineyards and the wines. You ride through the oldest and most prestigious grapes with a local that knows every little secret and is not shy about sharing it.

Our bike tour on October 5th in St Emilioin area near Bordeaux was wonderful. We were treated with a very knowledgeable and passionate tour guide Juliette, who started by taking us on a personal tour of St Emilion early in the day before the majority of the visitors arrived and then fitted us with our bikes and helmet. We rode around the town on scenic and safe backroads seeing
many chateaus and vineyards. At lunchtime, we were treated to a beautiful French picnic complete with handmade pates, sausage, terrific desserts and local wine. When the bicycling was finished we were taken to a large chateau and given a special tour of their wine-making operation.
All in all, it was a very unique experience that we will cherish as a special memory of our recent European adventure.

There is no other way to see St Emilion then by bike. My daughter and I took this tour and we were not disappointed. We rode our bikes around St Emilion and our tour guide was great. She was full of information about the vineyards and the region. We ate lunch in a family run vineyard and the food and hospitality was great. The owner also took us on a tour of her home, this was greatly appreciated as she didnt need to. Our guide was so understanding as my daughter being young required a few stops and the guide was more than accomodating. The ride was great we saw so much of the region, tasted so many wines at the chateaux and the tour and information at the vineyards was great. would recommend it to any one. Great for families.

We had a wonderful day! The two wineries we visited were lovely our lunch was tasty! Our guide, Colas, was great ! He spoke excellent English and very knowledgeable. On the downside, maybe a bit more wine? We passed a lot of wineries but only went to two of them. All in all, a great day!

We had a great tour guide, with lots of knowledge on the area and the wines. The food was really good and the guides at the wineries were enthusiastic and informative. The only thing is we would have liked more biking distance.

Enjoyed our day with Kevin and Marin (excellent guides) and the other guests. It was great to be out riding and learning the history and more about wines and the region. Excellent lunch and wine! The only thing was that this tour advertised pick up and drop off from your hotel but this didn't happen. Otherwise fantastic day. Thank you.
