Very thorough tour, highlighting the major memorials and cemeteries of Flanders. Commentary was informative but not overwhelming. The final visit to experience the Menin Gate Buglers Ceremony was very moving. Would highly recommend.

An excellent tour of the World War One battlefields.
We were collected from the Crown Plaza Hotel in Bruges and taken to meet our tour bus coming from Brussels.
Our tour guide was Johann and he was very knowledgeable regarding the history of the various battlefields that we visited. We were so lucky to have him as our guide and I would recommend him to anyone considering this tour.

So much history and interesting sights packed into one day. Very educational and emotional but still a lot of fun! Worth wile day!

There was so much to see and do! We definitely could have spent more time at some of the sites; however, it is understandable that we couldn and #39;t spend more time or else we wouldn and #39;t have seen all the sites we did see. The guide was really good and knowledgable

It is a very somber trip through FLanders. Very powerful to see the memorials to the lost. May we always honor their sacrifice

This tour was awesome. Small, only about 15 people, which made it really easy to hear/engage in the tour. Lots of amazing sights including Hill 60, Ypres, Flanders Fields Museum, Tyne Cot Cemetery and much more. Stayed for last post ceremony at Menin Gate, very moving. Guide was very knowledgeable and willing to answer all questions. Long and tiring day but worth it!

A fabulous and informative day out, yet totally sobering seeing all of the fallen soldiers. I learnt more about WW1 and Belgiums involvement than I ever knew. Our guide Stefan was very passionate about the subject and went out of his way to make it a little bit more personal for those of us on the Tour. I would recommend this tour for anyone even slightly interested in history.

Tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave thoughtful presentations. The destinations of the tour, which consisted of cemeteries, actual WWI trenches, museums, attending a remembrance ceremony in Ypres, etc. were well-chosen.

This tour was excellent and the Guide too was excellent. The information he was able to give at each stop was second to none. He really knew his history and was able to answer any question asked. The lunch we had at the Passchendaele Cheese House was second to none with plenty to eat and served well by the staff.
It was a long day (we are warned in your Tour info it was an 11 hour day) and some of us "oldies" were flagging towards the end but said it was worth every penny. Unfortunately, the tour we had to Luxembourg on 7 July was not good. The guide left a lot to be desired and that will be reviewed by my travel companion Joan Casey who booked it and who will give you more details when she submits her review. This tour restored our faith in Viator. We did let the office in Brussels know of our feelings of being let down by the LuLuxembourg tour.

Very thorough and moving. It exceeded our expectations, and so fitting to finish with the last post ceremony at Ypres.

It was an amazing day, packed with so many sites to visit. We were accompanied by our guide Jean who was very knowledgable, flexible and able to work with the different needs of the group. Jean was happy to answer questions and loved to discuss different aspects of the places visited. The in Flanders Fields Musuem was incredibly interesting and a good way to end the day before a dinner break. Jean ensured we had the best viewing spot at the Last Post Ceremony, which was a very emotional end to the day. The lunch was also good and we thoroughly recommend this tour.

Covered a lot of monuments/cemeteries. Guide seemed to taylor the program to the nationalities represented on the tour. Flanders museum seemed a bit rushed- there was a lot to read and see. Wish we had known ahead of time that there was a special Canadian exhibit separately at the end not seen until exiting. It was missed due to time. Otherwise full of useful information and good tour. Had passed on allergy concerns for lunch at booking but was not given to restaurant. They were good about preparing something else for me though. Everyone else was pleased with their lunch.

Fantastic tour. Better starting at Bruges as saved travelling to and from Brussels. Great tour guide.

This was a very good tour. It was very enjoyable to drive through the Belgium countryside and learn of its history during WWI. I learned a lot. The guide was very knowledgeable. At times his thick accent made it difficult to understand his English. The lunch in Ypres was very good.
The only negative thing is that we waited at the departure point for 40 minutes before the bus arrived. We were to be picked up at 10:15 and the bus arrived at 10:50. This then affected the time we could stay at some of the stops.
I would also recommend to fellow Americans going on this tour to brush up on their Belgium history during WWI before they go. That will enhance your experience.

The Tour and guide were excellent and the organisation was very good with the exception of one hour delay in being collected by the coach which I believe was coming from Brussels. Thoroughly enjoyable day with visits to many sites included.

A long day, especially as we had to wait for almost an hour for the coach. However, the trip itself was very interesting and visited a number of different places, including Ypres. The guide was very good.
