We loved this tour! Our guide and driver were excellent, knowledgeable and fun to talk with. Coba is an amazing site and we learned a lot but were also able to explore and enjoy our visit. The Cenote swim was fantastic, beautiful cavern and water. So bummed our underwater camera decided to quit on us, so we didn't get pictures of the cenote.
It gets very hot in the jungle, a morning tour is best and bring water!! Wear good hiking shoes if you want to climb the ruins, the ground is uneven in a lot of places. We would definitely go back! Highly recommend this tour if you want something different, informative and beautiful.

Arturo was an excellent tour guide. This tour was really a highlight of our trip. Everything was perfect - from the bikes, to the ruins, to the cenote, and ending with a fabulous lunch. Would definitely book this again.

Florentio was a great guide and really gave us a personal experience and perspective. He and the driver were great and Coba was much nicer than Chicen Itza as there were not vendors every five feet bothering you when all you want to do is look at the scenery.

I went on the 26th and the tour guy was so awesome! Very nice, really informative. We rode bicycles to the Coba Ruins and it was so much fun bicycles were included! Got to climb to the top and saw an amazing view. Afterwards we cooled off at the Cenote. Which was beautiful in its self. Overall, the trip went very well. We all had a great time and I learned a lot! DEFINITELY recommend this tour!!! SO worth the money!!!

The tour and the restaurant for lunch were fine. The bus was 15ish min late for pick-up. I guessed it's because the bus had to pick up all the people from the south of hotel zone to the north. So I think I'm fine with a 15-min lateness.

Early departure meant beating the crowds and we did. We enjoyed the tour and had a wonderful day.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The guide knowledge on Mayan ruins was impressive. Riding the bikes they provide around the grounds was fun. climbing to the top of the pyramid was amazing! It's very steep, and hot, you might sweat a little, but so worth it!

The tour picked us up at the Grand Mayan promptly at 7 am and we were very pleased with the entire tour and the guide, Oscar Osorio, who is wonderful. The early access is a wonderful idea and we had no crowds during any part of the tour. This is a tour you need to keep and keep Oscar also !!! The bike ride thru the Coba ruins was really fun and Oscar kept us entertained and educated the entire time. I highly recommend this tour

Freddy our tour guide was great and regaled us with all sorts of information about the Mayans on our drive to Coba after letting us have a little nap first, given the early wake up call. Once we arrived we climbed on bikes and started a leisure ride into the site, with pedicabs for those who couldn't ride. We had several stops including the pyramid where we got to climb to the top. The views are spectacular but you will definitely be feeling all those steps later in the week. At the end of the Coba portion you get a little free time to explore and take a few pictures before getting in the bus for the cenote.
The cenote was not quite what I was expecting, it is more of an underground cave than the open sinkholes you sometimes see in pictures. That being said it was very refreshing and had several places from the stairs where you could safely jump into the water. Be ready to deal with some wildlife though as there were some bats flying overhead and some small fish in the water.
The food was great and located over some shops which allowed for a quick shopping opportunity after lunch.

The drive was pretty long....3 different buses to get there! Our guide on the tour was absolutely fantastic, very informative and interesting. However, we were let down by our driver - he spoke no English and didn't attempt to advise us of important things, such as what time to return to the bus etc!

Florentio from Amigo was our guide. He was a sloppy translator. Half our tour group were Spanish speakers, and the other half English. He would slip from Spanish into English mid-sentence as if they were the same language, and no one could understand him. He was capable at communicating in both languages, but chose to provide the tour in this manner because it was easier than repeating every sentence in the two languages.
The driving time was far too long. They picked us up from Cancun at 5am but we did not arrive at Coba until 9am. It should be a 2.5 hr drive, but they spent hours picking people up from different hotels and resorts in a large bus, and then later shuffling us into smaller vehicles.
Two hours into the drive, Florentio forced me to move out of my seat and sit at the back of the vehicle between three other women. He had decided to give up his seat at the front of a car to the last couple joining the tour. I thought it was very unfair, and he was very impolite. The drive was 7.5hrs long, and it was unbearable having 4 adults sit together at the back of the vehicle in one seat. There were 15 adults in total in the vehicle and we were crammed together like sardines.
Coba is beautiful and worth visiting. Spend the money, and experience it with a better tour company.

POOR customer service
seems like they forgot we had a tour, they had no bus for us at the meeting place,
COBA experience was rushed because they were late
