Although we had someone become seasick on the boat and it is hard to give someone ill their space when they are not well, it was a great trip. Nicely paced trip with good provision of information e.g. historical and modern insights and EXCELLENT lunch. Not so much a snorkeling adventure when we went a bit too cool and the current too strong, but it was really nice and we truly enjoyed Andreas.

Our favorite day of the trip! You're able to see all the towns from sea, take a few swims, and just enjoy sailing.

Captain Giorgio was awesome and took us all around the beautiful shoreline of Cinque Terre

Our day trip was spectacular because we had a friendly and knowledgable captain. Marino was the perfect host to our adventurous group and we had the best day of our entire trip in Italy sailing with him!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. We got to relax and see some beautiful coastline! It was absolutely breathtaking and the view from the boat is so different than when on land.

A very nice trip with a pleasant captain who made a fantastic lunch. It is however weather dependent and if the wind is too high the waves will make Cinque Terre unreachable. Despite that the trip was very delightful.

Excellent experience! Given the previous reviews I made sure to ask about swimming and took my own snorkel gear. I have a feeling we wouldn and #39;t have stopped without someone asking. We swam about 150m from shore, AMAZING WATER! And AMAZING LUNCH!!

We had a fantastic time on the Cinque Terre Sailing Day Trip. We met some great people that joined us on the boat. Lucca the skipper was interesting and accommodating. We had the run of the boat. Seeing the Cinque Terre from the water was an experience to remember. We had a lovely lunch with wine/champagne. A few sprinkles on our return trip didn't dampen our day. Would highly recommend.

A wonderful day on the water - little wind so we didn't sail much, but motored agreeably along this spectacular part of the Ligurian coast. Our skipper, Luca, was very attentive and prepared a feast for our lunch. The highlight was our stop in Portovenere - what a charming town. Luca gave us advice about the best place to capture the view Chiesa San Pietro and where to find the best gelato in the whole of Liguria. A lovely way to spend a day in this magnificent part of the world.

This tour was beautiful. I just wish that they tell you about medusas before you jump to the water.

What a lovely day! Really enjoyed lounging on the bow of the boat, and the lunch was delicious! Unfortunately, our skipper seemed in a rush to get back. The tour ended rather abruptly, we were transferred to another boat in the Vernazza harbour, so we didn't get to sail past Monterosso. Tour was closer to 5 hours than 7.

Loved the trip...swam in the crystal blue water, got sunburned, nice company, cool skipper.... what more to ask for?

Super excursion !

We did not hop off to one of the village. I thought we would do that as described on the tour website.

A lovely day in the sunshine - would have liked a little more information as we went along about the history of the Cinque Terre.

Enjoyed our trip but was very disappointed that the weather conditions didn't allow us to cruise around 5 Terre It wasn't our skipper, Luca's, lack of trying to make up for it! He took us to a spot to swim but there were many jelly fish and very cold water so we then went to Portaverne, nice!

The boat was very nice. We cruised around for quite a while and stopped in two places to swim. Overall, the tour was too long and got to be boring. I would have preferred a 4 hour tour instead of this. The lunch was nice. The sail was not a booze cruise by any stretch and not a lot of wine was provided. The boat's skipper was pleasant but not very engaging. It was a beautiful day but I was not impressed overall.

The sailing excursion was fabulous. It was a beautiful day for sailing and we all had a wonderful time. This could have been a 5 star excursion for us.
HOWEVER - we had 4 kids in our group ages 7, 11, 13 and 16. We inquired before the tour to make sure the boat would be equipped with life jackets for children. We arrived late because the directions were very confusing. So the boat took off as soon as we boarded. When we asked about life jackets for the children we were told they only had jackets to fit adults - I would never have left the dock if I had known that. And we also asked if the boat would supply snorkeling equipment and we were told yes. However there was no snorkeling equipment available on our boat. It did not really matter because where we stopped to swim and snorkel was 100 feet deep which is not really the most desirable environment for snorkeling.
The tour itself was great but not having life jackets to fit our children after being told they would have them was really irresponsible and something that would not have been tolerated in the US.

We arrived before our boat was due to depart at 10am. A group of 6 were late and we were informed they were lost. At around 10.20am we received phone call from Veronica at Viator to explain they were close by and we would be leaving shortly. At 10.55am I had to call Viator myself to ask why we were still having to wait for the late guests. The skipper was not prepared to sail the boat until they arrived. We lost an hour off the tour and the skipper brought his girlfriend onto the boat who was clearly not happy with him and chewed her nails in the corner of the boat for the whole time - which is not the experience we would expect for the cost of the day trip and obviously not very professional. It was a shame we had to experience this on our honeymoon trip and we've received no apology by the Viator. If guests are late there should be a cut off point of 10 -15 minutes for when the boat sails, you shouldn't have to lose an hour's sail, especially with the cost of the trip in mind.
