This was a great tour from beginning to end! Our guide, John, who picked us up at the train station was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and was able to give us important information about how the tour would be set up and what to expect. He made sure to help us get onto another train quickly so we could get to our hotel fast and still be in time for our own booked tickets to the Titanic museum. He went above and beyond. We also enjoyed our tour with bus drivers Paul and Paul. They kept the tour lively and fun. The sights you will see are beyond spectacular!!! I would definitely book this tour again!

The guys who accompanied us on the train were so nice. We were the only ones in our group so we got a lot of insights on Ireland and it's cultural norms. Belfast was great loved the hotel! and the drive along the coast was stunning. The hanging bridge and Giant's Causeway were just incredible.... so glad we made that trip to Northern Ireland - we saw a LOT in a short time.

Thoroughly enjoyed the train ride up with our guide who made arrangements for us to do the 'Black Taxi Tour' which was amazing! Beautiful hotel and excellent breakfast. Loved the trip to the Giants Causeway and to the Rope Bridge. Excellent guides!!

Hotel accommodations were great, and the bus tour was fantastic! Very informative, with plenty of time at all the different stops. Just wish we'd had more time to explore Belfast the day we arrived. Our RailTour guide was helpful, although he showed up later than we expected. After the bus tour ended, we had to trek a few blocks to the train station with all our luggage, and expected our guide to meet us, but he didn't. We didn't know what time the train back to Dublin was, and by the time we got there after hustling straight from the bus we had missed it by a few minutes and had to wait a couple hours for the next one. More detailed info about that portion of the trip would have been helpful!

Loved the Giants Causeway and driving through the small towns of Northern Ireland. Great guide. Just hoped that I could have arrived in Belfast earlier in the day.

THEIR LACK OF ORGANIZATION RUINED OUR TRIP!AN ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY.PLAN THIS TRIP YOURSELF. First, on the train from Dublin to Belfast, the tour guide kept falling asleep for a rail tour, we thought it would be informative, but it was a commuter train with no commentary. Nice scenery, but we didn't know what we were seeing out the windows. Second, when we got to Belfast, the museums and such were already closed, so yes, you get time to yourself in Belfast, but there's really nothing to do. On a related note, in the morning, we picked up the rest of our tour from the train station! We had no idea that was an option! Would have preferred to do that than stay overnight.
Our biggest problem was the lack of organization. We booked through a tour company so we wouldn't be stressed over the little things. That was not the case. The morning of, we called the office because the Viator site says 2 different things: 1 the trip returns you to the original departure point and 2 the trip returns to Dublin Heuston Station. The office confirmed it returns to original departure point. When we boarded the train in Dublin, the guide told us the train back no longer runs, so we'd have to take a later train and get back after 1am or pay to take a bus back ourselves. When we asked if we'd get reiumbursed our train fare if we opted to pay for bus tickets out of pocket, he called the office. They told him we would stay on the tour bus and they'd drive us back to Dublin, directly to our hotel. Would have been nice to have been told that in the AM when we spoke to the office who confirmed the train!. In the AM in Belfast, we asked the bus driver about that, and he knew nothing about driving us back. When the tour guide got on the bus with the rest of the group, we asked him, and he said we'd take the train back as originally planned. Stressful. Disastrous.
Bus driver was knowledgeable. The train ride back was fine. Again, no commentary, but after the 1stday, we expected that.
