This was my favourite tour of the 4 tours we did from Dubrovnik. I loved it the scenery was fantastic, the coastline was stunning with the beautiful mountains so close.

Our Lady of the Rocks and Kotor were great but expected more from the Roman mosaics. Very knowledgeable and local guides. Definitely recommended.

I love the trip our tour guide Ivana was fabulous as wells as our driver. Our Lady of the Rock Island is a phenomenal experience and so beautiful with some really interesting and unique artwork and artifacts from sea travelers. And Kotor is really worth a visit and we enjoyed our local tour guide Alexander's walk around the walled town. Great trip well worth going on the Ancient tour.

A fabulous trip; the guides were excellent and very friendly. Bus pick up was on time and we were advised of the situation at every stage especially at the border crossing.

The guide was knowlegeable, spoke very good English and had a sense of humor to boot. The drive there was beautiful, and the sites were very interesting. I only wish there was more time to climb the steps in Kotor, but it was only a one day trip. I highly recommend this excursion.

Well worth the money. The tour was great, as were the tour guides - they couldn't be faulted. You get to see and experience plenty. My only criticism would be that it would have been nice to have spent time in more natural surroundings, exploring the country rather than just the architecture etc.

Well organised tour. The stop at the mosaic temple was a bit disappointing, as you couldn't really hear the lady and she seem disinterested. Loved Kotor and climbed 3/4 of the way up to top about 1000 steps. Bus was very comfortable and could easily hear guide. Only comment is, this would be the 1st Viator tour that we've done, that wants actually run directly by them, and we could have got on same tour from old port for slightly cheaper.

This tour was another excellent tour. We enjoyed the comfort of the coach as it was a long day, and the tour guide was most informative and helpful. A thoroughly enjoyable tour.

A beautiful day. We were met outside Pile Gate at the Hotel imperial Hilton near the garage and transported to the large coach. We had a well informed tour guide who entertained us all day by being comical and interesting with his knowledge of Croatia as well as Montenegro. The trip went by Cavtat, Cilipi and Konavle Valley and on to the Bay of Kotor, which was vast. Here after a quick tour of some Roman mosiacs at Risan. We caught a boat over to the man made island and the Church "Our Lady of the Rocks" where a local tour guide from Perast, the quiet village from which we departed on the boat, explained the church, how and why the island was built and about the local sea captains. Very interesting talk and we wandered around this small island taking photos across the lake to the huge backdrop of mountains. I managed to capture a huge cruise ship on the bay with a local fisherman in his small craft together...the big and the small. Kotor the town also on the water, has high 4.5 km walls and a fort on the hill above. Here we also had an well informed and funny guide walk us through the stari grad,(old town). Then after we had a bit of a wander around, we had time to enjoy a lovely meal on a piazza. This was a day tour that I will remember for ages to come.

I highly recommend this trip. The mosaics at Risan are interesting; it's fun to be in the middle of a lake surrounded by mountains; and Kotor is fabulous. That's the problem, really. A day trip (including wasted hours at the border) is not really enough time, and Kotor, in particular is short-changed. [And another thing! I'd hate to be there when a cruise ship's in town.] The Kotor guide is interesting, but I suggest abandoning the party and wandering about by yourself. You won't get lost, and you will still see all the good stuff. You might even manage to climb higher than the church.

Very poor organisation, with no allowance to cope with transfers during extreme wet weather. No coffe break during the morning .

This tour was not as good as the other Viator tours we have been on. We found the organisation not as 'slick' as the others and there was a lot of driving. The scenery was beautiful but the hold up at the Croatian border (for no apparent reason) for over an hour sitting in the hot bus was very annoying and this has apparently been the case for the last 3 months. It spoilt the day making us late for everything. After a break at the beginning of the trip there was no toilet or drink stop until we reached Kotor and did the guided tour - over 3 1/2 hours later. We were too tired and hungry to appreciate this lovely medieval town. Our time there was shorter than planned- very disappointing as the reason we chose this tour was for the extra time here. The visit to the Roman mosaics consisted of one excellent example of mosaics and pictures held up to show the others that were not there- I think they were being restored and the guide was very hard to understand- not worth the time. Unless you have extra days I wouldn't recommend this tour based on our experience.

The beautiful country was practically ruined by this awful tour. There ought to be a big warning that the coach used is an outdated model with NO FUNCTIONING AIR CONDITIONING in the middle of summer. Issue raised with Viator customer service completely ignored. Very disappointed.
