Chris was an awesome tour guide with lots of local knowledge. Stopped at interesting points showing us a variety of landscapes in Dunedin. Also want to thank Chris for having my scarf delivered to the ship that I left on the bus, which I needed the next day.

We had a wonderful tour - the tour guide was exceptionally good. Being a small group it was very friendly. Dunedin is a lovely city and we especially enjoyed the Otago Peninsular and discovering a couple of sealions on the beach

My husband and I booked our own shore excursions instead of going on those offered by Holland America on our November 2015 NZ/Australia cruise, and this tour turned out to be the highlight of our trip. Our excellent pilot, Nick Hoyle, with Paravion Wilderness Tours, changed our itinerary to avoid some possible weather problems, and how grateful we were to have smooth flying conditions. It was a thrill to land on an open field on Maria Island, and then Nick led us on a walk and provided a picnic of hot drinks and some snacks. We got within a few feet of a calmly grass-munching wombat. On our flight back to Hobart, Nick spotted some whales, which we would have completely missed, and took us right over them for a closer look. Wineglass Bay and the cliffs of Pillar were magnificent. It was a splurge well worth it.

Small group was great with our guide, Bruce. We saw spectacular scenery and had an optional drop off in town where we shopped and visited the Cadbury factory.

Perfect tour with a small group. We went to a amazing beach where we saw a seal too! The friendly guide explained all about nature in Duneding - we recommend!

Had a great tour of the area. The small bus went everywhere and the tour guide, Mark, was very informative. We highly enjoyed this tour.

The Otago Peninsula was an absolute highlight! Did not expect to see Sealions and Penguins up close. Our guide was friendly, informative and it was a great experience to be in a very small group tour. One of the best shore excursions we did in New Zealand whilst on a cruise ship recently.

It's been awhile since I took the tour. As good as I can recall, the tour guide was very good and the tour was interesting.

Tour was well done for what there is to see in Dunedin, so recommend tour agency and itinerary.

A good insight into Dunedin in just a few hours.

This was an intellectual tour. Dr. Dave PhD, our guide was extremely knowledgeable about plants, birds, animals, etc. The van was a bit cramped and the sound system was not the best. Overall a good tour.

Really got the feel of Dunedin getting out of the city and seeing its beautiful nature. Our guide was friendly and answered everyone's questions. They were a little disorganized at the Port but the tour made up for this. Would recommend this tour to anyone as a shore excursion.

Loved our final stop at a beautiful beach where we saw two sea lions napping on the beach.

The tour guide/van driver was very nice and informative (Chris). We had a delay due to picking up some passengers in town rather than from the cruise ship where the rest of us boarded, which put us off schedule by one hour and meant that we did not have time to stay for awhile in Dunedin following the tour. We also did not see any sea lions on the beach which was disappointing. Otherwise, enjoyed the tour.

We all enjoyed this trip very much. The sights were beautiful and the guides very well informed. I would reccommend this trip to anyone that wanted to save money and visit some of the same sites as the cruise ships. We had no problems and were returned to our ship with plenty of time for departure. Thanks for a wonderful tour!!

The countryside is beautiful! The ride in the minivan was horrible. The engine is up front and the ride as very noisy, rough, and the vibration being so close to the engine extremely distracting. I can put up with the corny comments from the driver if I could have understood him. It wasnt the accent, it was the sound system. On top of the engine noise and the static, feedback of the sound system we could usually make out about half of what was said. We never say any animals other than sheep nothing new here, horses, and a couple of small native land birds. We did not see any penguins or seals. We were also told the castle was closed and we couldnt get in. When we returned to the cruise ship we were told how much others enjoyed seeing the castle????????????

Excellant guide but it was a rainy day and not many animals or birds to see.
