Really well designed and well organized trip. Our guide was very good, and the Cu Chi Tunnels were fascinating. Seeing the cricket farm and trying some deep fried crickets was a very nice add-on to the trip. Highly recommended.

Was a great trip, our guide was very well informed and we found the Cu Chi trip incredibly informative and interesting. River journey very nice but maybe shouldn't have eaten that cricket at farm! Lunch later was an excellent meal too. A most enjoyable trip.

We took the morning speedboat from Saigon to the tunnels and visited the cricket farm. Our guide was excellent. The tunnel tour is very interesting and is a must when visiting the area. The cricket farm was brilliant. Only a small place but afterwards you have the opportunity to make a spring roll with deep fried crickets and taste the. I found them rather tasty, a little like beef crisps. The lunch on this tour was out of this world, we ate so much good food in a lovely restaurant, beautifully clean and well presented

Brilliant trip and Yao our guide spoke great English and very informative. Got the speedboat back to the city as opposed to the tunnels and caught the afternoon sun on the boat. Lovely meal too in a nice location. Rice paper making was also interesting.

The whole trip was well worth it. We were picked up from hotel, short drive to the river and taken on an amazing trip down the river into the heart of Vietnam by speedboat. It gave a totally different view of Vietnam that you don't get in the city. We got to the cu chi tunnels and had a good look around. You can even have a go at firing an AK47 !
We were then taken to a cricket farm where after seeing the various stages of their growth you then get the chance to taste the end result. Deep fried in rice paper with salads. I did not do the sampling but my husband was daft enough to try. One gentleman in the group was thoroughly enjoying them though I think he was hungry.
We were then driven back into Saigon where we were taken to a beautiful restaurant for lunch. I have to admit that after 2 weeks in Vietnam it is the best meal we have ever had.
Drop off back at hotel.
Would definatly recommend. The only downside we found was the guide didn't speak very good English and was difficult to understand and I felt we were a little rushed at the tunnels.

Rolig och lärorik utflykt! Man får uppleva hur kriget var från nordvietnamesernas sida. Mycket bra guide.

We highly recommend this tour - the Ch Chi tunnels were interesting and our guide was very informative. The highlight was shooting 10 rounds of an AK7 assault rifle which is an optional extra and a lot of fun. Lunch was at a lovely outside restaurant with great food a luckily for us good company with the other tour attendees.

I was looking forward to this part of my trip to Vietnam and was not disappointed in any way. My tour guide, Tin, was fantastic - very knowledgeable and willing to help with anything the whole day. The visit to the cricket farm was better than I hoped and the restaurant we went to for lunch was superb. Excellent value for money. Thanks Tin and Viator!

On the trip the guide Tony was very helpful and knowledgable and gave a real good tour, I was lucky as I was the only person on the trip that day but even if there was more people it would have been good.
Restuart we to for luch was great

For something like this it was great to get a knowledgable guide - gave me a new insight to a war that I was too young to understand at the time. We also had a lot of fun on the speedboat up the Mekong and eating a cricket was something that I didn't think I'd ever do! Great people on the tour also made the day an enjoyable day. Thanks very much.

Great half day trip. A guide with reasonable English although you have to concentrate and the underlying Socialist Govt view of the war comes through but its ok. The tour is interesting and informative. There were gunshots going off the whole time which was from a shooting range at the end of the tour where, if you buy some bullets, you can shoot assault rifles. There was only one well known nationality seemingly partaking of that, or so it seemed from the accents we could hear!
