This was a great way to see Hobart from the top of the mountain and a fun ride down. Staff was really friendly and tried to accommodate us going all the way to the top since there were recent road closings due to icing on the road. Overall a great experience!

Great fun, and catered for those of us who were a bit nervous and those who were confident participants. Good quality bikes and top notch guides. Rug up as its cold at the top.

The guides were very enthusiastic and willing to cater to all levels of adventurousness. The guide took us on an off road path which really made the trip for us. Would definitely recommend!!!

Our whole family (ages 27 to 72) had a blast! The guides were so personable and truly accommodating of all skill levels and paces. We had a wonderful time and are still talking about it! Just a wonderful adventure. Highly recommended!

fantastic trip - i was genuinely worried about my safety having read some comments on trip advisor ( i booked the trip knowing my partner would like it) but the guides were very patient with my slow descent (brakes on full all the way for the first part) and I was never made to feel I was holding people up
The guides still encouraged all of us to partake in the off-road part - (I was not the only one anxious about this) - but in fact that part of the descent felt a lot safer and after that part the ride back into Hobart was a joy

so yes fantastic trip very scary at the start but in fact well manageable for anyone over 8 who can ride abide as they say

Was great fun and fast, not for the feint hearted cyclist, does require some skill and experience on a bike as we travelled at around 35km/hr downhill (so we were told) and could go up to 50km which some of the dare devils did! If you have a small camera, keep it on you as there are some good photo ops (f you are into photography) The bus followed close by and stopped at pre determined locations for a couple of pics but I saw many pics I would have liked to grab. Excellent bikes, helmets, and warm gloves's cold up top and we were riding on a warm day! Take glasses to protect your eyes from off road sticks and wind chill whilst hurtling down the mountain. Excellent fun! Staff were great.

We had a great trip down the mountain, 26km with hardly any peddling. Our guide was very informative taking us past most of the points of interest in Hobart. The route had been carefully selected to include road and off road sections traveling through suburbia, parks and small tracks to keep us off the main roads where ever possible. The trip is achievable to all levels of rider and well worth the money.

Had a brilliant time - there was snow on the mountain which made it very cold but it was a fantastic experience - one which I would recommend to anyone!

A fantastic morning. They provided all the gear needed. Expert tuition in off-roading. They were most professional and we'd do it again in a flash. You don't need to be a Tour de France cyclist to do it.

If you can ride a pushbike, you should do this tour! The ride is on road, with an optional trail section, and takes you past the Cascade Brewery, Female Factory and other historic buildings and sights. Both guys (Ben and Andy) were really friendly and full of local info and advise for further things to see and do in Tazzie, as-well-as good places to eat and carboload (amber nectar). A really great way to spend a morning - if you get the weather the views from Mount Wellington are spectacular. Go on, you know you want to!

Great experience. What a way to see Mt Wellington and what a buzz the ride down is. Better than having to peddle up the 1270 metres.

It was a fantastic trip and I would definitely do again, but just thought I would leave this feedback. I thought the last bit of the ride through the busy traffic around Salamanda was a bit hairy. I would have been happy if the trip stopped at the Cascade Brewery. We both really loved the trip though and it has encouraged us to get back into mountain bike riding! Thank you.

This was super fun, and id say a must do if you and #39;re visiting Hobart. The instructors were great and broke the descend down for us so we knew what to expect along the way down the mountain.

Freewheeling down Mt Wellington was a wonderful experience. The view from the top of Mt Wellington was so clear that you could see for miles. Our two guides were excellent value and highly professional.
