It was a wonderful day of cruising past vineyards and castles, and beautiful cities. We were on the paddle boat and it was elegant. We ate a delicious lunch and met some very interesting people. We met people from all over the world. We were safe and saw some terrific views. We could have hopped on and off to another boat and toured in a city, but we would have lost the paddle boat then. It was so much fun. This is a wonderful one-day tour along a beautiful stretch of the Rhine. A must do!

This is a great cruise to see all the castles and beautiful landscape along the Rhine River in 1 day. If you don't want to stay on the cruise to the end you can get off anywhere along the way and take the next boat going back to your original destination. I highly recommend this cruise.

Helpful advice given when ticket collected about getting off at the pretty town of Bacharach and then exploring the town and castle above whilst waiting for the ship to return as two return sailings available at that time. The ship used, the paddle ship Goethe, was very well provided for with good staff and the breakfast and drinks at a price you would expect

Very relaxing. Beautiful cruise. All went well before and during the cruise. Price was definitely right. The views were amazing. We will definitely recommend this cruise o friends, and probably take it again.

We cruised from Koblenz down to Cochem (the Moselle River) using the one day KD Rhine Pass. It was an excellent way to simply sit back and enjoy the river and views as towns, locks and great countryside all drifted by. We stayed overnight in Cochem, which is delightful, and then caught the train back to Koblenz to continue with our touring. It was very easy and convenient, the KD pass is not expensive, although I would recommend booking ahead, esp in busy times, and the Moselle is as interesting, if not even lovelier than the more famous Rhine

Fantastic! Rhein was very swollen due to floods but second time i have done this and just as great. Suggest starting at koblenz and jumping off at bingen and training it back. Would be a very long day boating all the way home too. Oh and when waiting at koblenz go for a walk to where the mosel meets the rhein as a fantastic monument stands there....only 5mins along the river from where you jump on the boat. Must do if in this part of germany.

The trip was on our 40th wedding anniversary, and perfect in every way. Staff congenial and helpful. We had read the blog sites, no one recommended the 11 hour round trip so we also left the boat downstream and took train back to Koblenz. Loved it, memory of a lifetime.

For the money, it was a great cruise - lots of beautiful scenery including castles and old ruins. The ship itself was comfortable - very clean and spacious.

Very good value for money. Well worth doing, but 11 hours is a little long. How about doing it one way with a train return journey?

An absolute must. I have thoroughly enjoyed the cruise and the breathtaking scenary around. The restaurant waitress was a little rude but that did not spoil my spirit. The cruise was also very cost effective.

Great views, good quality service. Food and drinks on board are reasonably priced. I recommend taking the boat one way and then taking the train back to give you sufficient time to do some sightseeing.

The sights along the cruise make this trip well worth taking. The information given over the speakers about the major sites was good. The food was good although the waitstaff was not overly friendly and were more concerned with which part of the counter you order from than meeting guests needs. The ship was clean, large, with plenty of seating for views and we loved the cruise overall.

Great tour. Need better parking guidance/direction!!

It's interesting. The tour itself is well worth the money and I definitely recommend booking. The only downside to our trip is that we tried visiting a couple of recommended castles and, unfortunately, both were closed for whatever reason. It would have been nice to know this beforehand so that we could have planned for two other castles.

The tour was very good. Nice interior on the boat. Excellent staff. View was amazing. Only issue was that it was just too long!!! Boy was I ready for it to be over. Try to find a way to shorten. Maybe offer an express option that does not make all the stops. Overall, though, it was great.

It was a great day. Every bend in the river yielded another interesting sight, especially from someone from Canada who didn't grow up with Castles and vineyards on the hills. Well worth the trip.

It was a very nice way to spend the day.
Nice boat the paddle wheeler is very nicely appointed and the staff were very good.

If I was to do this again I would probably take the train further up river and then take a boat one way down the river just to be able to see more castles and further up the Rhein.
