VIRGIN MARY HOUSE
Visit Virgin Mary House; The resolutions of the council of 431, the Virgin Mary came to Ephesos with Saint John, four to six years after the death of Christ.
After Mother Mary House, drive to the Ephesus ruins. As you arrive into Ephesus, you will first see the Magnesia Gate, a marvelous example of ancient architecture that once stood tall as an entrance to the city. We will then begin a downhill walk with your guide into the city’s ruins. The route will take you past the Odeon, the Celsus Library, the Temple of Hadrian, the Fountain of Trajan and the Great Theater. The theater, one of the city’s best-preserved monuments, it is still used today for the local spring festival. It once had seating space for 24,000 people, and it is believed to be the site where St Paul preached to the Ephesians. Enjoy some delicious Turkish cuisine at lunch.
After lunch, explore the İsabey Mosque which was built in 1375 at the direction of the Emir of Aydin. Columns and stones from the ruins of the city of ephesus and the Temple of Artemis were incorporated into the building. The mosque was restored in 1934.

Following İsabey Mosque, visit the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Please note: The tour ends approximately at 4.00pm. You will be treated to an optional leather fashion show or Traditional Turkish Handmade Carpet Store, please inform your guide if you are not interested then you will be dropped back to hotel.
DAY 2: Around 8am-08:30am you will pick you up from your hotel and join your group for full day tour of Pamukkale.
HIERAPOLIS ANCIENT CITY
We enter from the top of the site in Hierapolis Ancient City exploring the gymnasium, theatre that had a capacity of 15,000 people and the Temple of Apollo. Hierapolis built just above the hot spring waters of Pamukkale, Hierapolis is a mighty ancient city and one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Hierapolis built in 2.nd century BC by the King of Pergamon then became a Roman City. City was famous with several important sanctuaries and also it was an important trade center. Hierapolis was famous for purple die and cloth making as it is still famous with textile products.
Afterwards, we will take off our shoes and walk along the white terraces of Pamukkale. Pamukkale (meaning Cotton Castle in Turkish) is famous for its beautiful white travertine terraces and antique city of Hierapolis. Also with its thermal water springs, Pamukkale and Karahayit are two important health tourism centers. We can dip our feet in the natural hot springs or head up to the man made hot spring baths and take a swim. You will be dropped off back to the your hotel or any centeral area.
