We took this tour in October of 2015. We repeated it with our nephew this time because Pedro gave a great tour last time. This tour was even better. The first stop comparing the types of ham and salami was a significant improvement over a wonderful tour in 2015. One can see easily that Pedro loves his city of Madrid. The walking history tour that he gives is fit for a history buff just as the tapas are fit for foodies. Fantastic!

We really enjoyed our walking tour of Madrid. We spent our first day in Madrid with Pedro and he really gave us a good orientation of the layout of the city and places to go. He gave us suggestions for Paella and souvenirs. We visited 4 tapas locations and the food was awesome. We had a small group of 4 and he addressed all of our questions about the history of the village. Pedro was a lot of fun to be with a lot of energy.

We were lucky enough to have Pedro as our tour guide, he was absolutely fantastic! We had a small group and visited 4 different venues, all a very different type of food/tapas. Pedro was not only knowledgable about the food we were enjoying but Spanish history as well! We were absolutely stuffed by the end of the tour and the beverages were all amazing and plentiful at each stop. Pedro was even kind enough to take some group photos and email them promptly the next day! We did over 20 excursions in a one month period in Europe and this was one of our top tours! Thank you Pedro for creating such an amazing introduction to the beautiful city of Madrid!

Pedro, our guide, was outstanding! The depth of his knowledge and the added insight of the history of the Village of Madrid made the evening even better. Based on what we learned about the food, culture and places to eat changed our remaining days in Madrid for the better. I would highly recommend the tour early in your stay.

We took the Tapas and Walking tour with Pedro de Blas our first night in Spain, and the four of us agree that it was a perfect start to our visit and one of the highlights of our 12-day tour. We were pretty tired when we met Pedro for our tour, but we were shortly rejuvenated, as he began with a lively and informative walking tour of the city and we arrived at our first of four stops for tapas and wine. Each stop on the tour highlighted a delicious specialty - cocido madrileño, a traditional chickpea-based stew from Madrid hams and cheeses seafood and just when we didn't think we could eat another bite, hot chocolate and churros. Pedro was most accommodating to the vegetarian in our group. He told us in the beginning that his goal for the tour was to provide us with a piece of Spanish history and high quality tapas. He unquestionably succeeded.

Pedro, our guide, was an old hand with this tour. We did the lunch time tour and visited three places to eat and drink. The tapas were the best we had in Spain and there was plenty of sangria and wine to accompany the tastings. Pedro had plenty of information about the 'village' of old Madrid. A highly recommended tour.

Pedro made our trip to Madrid a memorable and personal experience. Absolutely the best tapas and wine tour in the city. He was excited to share the history of the food, wine, and landmarks of the Village of Madrid. This tour is a must do on anyone's list when visiting this capital city.

The walking food tour with Pedro was awesome! Pedro seemed to enjoy this experience as much as we did so that made it all the more enjoyable. He was engaging, informative, and very passionate about Spain as he shared his knowledge of the rich history, the local lay of Madrid, and the cuisine that makes it special. The food selections were off the tourist-beaten Pathans we felt like he was extremely conscientious about ensuring the tour was a unique cultural experience. We absolutely appreciated that and as a result this was the highlight for our time spent in Madrid! We highly recommend you choose Pedro if you plan do take a food tour while visiting Madrid!

This tour was AMAZING! We can not recommend it enough, our tour guide was Pedro, and he was was just so honest and knowledgable about not only tapas and wine but the history and culture of Madrid! He reccomends so many flavor combinations and brought us to little hidden gems throughout Central Madrid. Pedro is top ten, but personally I think no other tour guide can compare! If you are contemplating taking this tour, DO IT! We want to do it again that is how much fun we had. Make sure you get Pedro!!

My college friend and I and our teenage daughters did this tour. It was a fantastic blend of the history of Madrid with fantastic tapas and drinks. Our group was fantastic and we really bonded. Pedro said our group was large at 10 but we thought it perfect. Pedro obviously loves Madrid, food, and wine and he did a wonderful job. Each stop was so unique.

Pedro's the man. We were waiting at the Palacio Real de Madrid meeting point on time, by ourselves, and wondering if we were at the wrong location. I rang Pedro, and I got this panting man on the other end of the phone, explaining to me, the Metro was on strike. He was now running 4 stations to meet us on time. Now that's dedication! He even broke his man bag! We suggested we start our tour at the closest bar, to quench someone's thirst , instead of the usual history lesson under the statue. This was accepted immediately . From then on the tour was sensational. His passion and knowledge for his country is obvious, and because there was only two of us, we had our own private tour. We were all having such a great time, we think it went into extra time and probably places. A must do. Thank you Pedro.

Only my girlfriend and I booked the lunchtime trip but that was no problem and we enjoyed the full attention of Pedro our guide who was excellent. He took us around a number of great venus and each one we sampled tapas accompanied by a suitable drink. Some really different food and drink which we found informative and very enjoyable. We wished we had skipped breakfast as eventually we ran out of room to eat! A great introduction to Spanish history and Madrids role in it.

My husband and I had the most fantastic tour with Pablo. He was so knowledgable and enthusiastic about all that Madrid can offer a visitor. We were so lucky that we were the only couple who had booked for the lunchtime tour. He told us that eight people had booked for the evening tour on the same day. One might expect that because there was only two of us, that he would have kept the tour short, but not a bit. In fact we asked so many questions and he was so informative that our tour which started at 11.30 didn't end until nearly 4pm. We sampled delicious food and discovered the best jamon we have ever tasted. We cannot praise this tour enough. It was a talking point for the rest of our trip. Ten out of ten!

Flew into Madrid and hit the ground running. We needed to eat and drink so why not have a guide show us the sites. We had a big group-18, so guide brought an extra guide. Very organized and it was no problem getting our group into the small spots. Hit five locations, all different, worth the $$

My husband and I had a wonderful time in the first night in Madrid. Pedro was very knowledgeable with Madrid and Spain history. We learned a lot of Madrid history from him in a short time. Pedro took us to 3 tapas restaurants where tourists don't typically go. The first place we went was the oldest tavern in Madrid. All tapas and wine were delicious. The second place Pedro took us was a local jamon shop. We had slices of fresh top quality Iberico ham and it melted in my mouth! Wine and cheese were also very good. The third place we went was tapas restaurant where they served canned seafood but nothing like canned seafood we get in the US, the quality was so good it reminded me Anthony Bourdain's travel show where he went to tapas restaurant in Madrid and had a high quality canned seafood. The last place we went was a café where they served traditional chorizo and chocolate. Thank you for the wonderful evening, Pedro!
We had a great time. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys good food, wine and company.

We werent quite sure what to expect, but were very impressed with the variety of tapas and wine that they selected to share with us. Pedro was great and it was a very fun way to see and learn about the city, and experience things we would never have found on our own.
