Great trip! Gorgeous Todra Gorge. Great food. Amazing camel ride. Beautiful and peaceful sunrise in Sahara.
In Sahara we stayed at Bivouac Le Cles Du Dessert. Great place. Yusuf the owner was a lot of fun.

I did this trip with my 2 sons from 18 and 22 years Christmas 2016. It was an unforgettable experience. The amazing and shifting landscapes, the wonderful Kashba's, the palm-oasis, the high Atlas mountains, the Todra canon and the rock and sand desert in Erfoud, Erg Chebbi , its was a stunning 3 days trip. As special thank goes to our kind driver and guide/host Hussein, he brought us safely from and back to Marrakesh. We booked the comfort/ luxery class for our stay in the desert. It was absolutely an onforgettable night. We had a comfortable tent, woth shower and toilet, the staf prepaired us a wonderful meal. Highly recommended this trip, value for money.

This is a great tour. We were collected from our Riad and taken to meet the minibus, met our fellow travellers of all ages and nationalities then headed off into the Atlas mountains and on to the desert. We made lots of stops along the way to take in the view and visit amazing attractions. The highlight was the camel riding and night at the Berber camp, even though we had the most tremendous thunder and lightening storm it didn't dampen our spirits and to see the sun rise over the Sahara from the back of a camel is an unforgettable experience. The staff at the camp and our driver were brilliant. The journey back on the last day was quite long but there was always something to look at out of the window. This is a great tour to escape the madness of Marrakech and discover some of the many faces of Morocco. Amazing value for money.

Amazing tour. The 2 hour camel track at sunset and then again at sunrise is obviously the highlight but there were many other beautiful things to see on the tour. Just seeing the different landscapes from the bus is often really interesting. They do take you to some local Berber people who then try to sell you something, but they give enough information so that it doesn't become an annoyance.
It's a 9 hour long drive back on the third day so bringing something to entertain yourself in that time is not a bad idea. The temperatures change a lot during the tour. One moment you are high in the atlas mountains and it's really cold, next you are in broad daylight and it's hot so it's nice to be able to easily add or remove a layer or two every now and then.
The tourguide does give some information along the way, but there is a lot more to learn about the interesting lifestyle of the Berber people so in hindsight I wish I had asked a lot more questions during the trip. The tourguide seemed more than happy to answer questions.

Beautiful experience,we got exactly what is described. The trip is a bit long and exhausting, but it is totally worth it. A once in a lifetime experience. I felt completely safe on the road, the driver was very prudent and did not take any risks. Very recommended

My boyfriend and I booked the duluxe version of this tour. Everything was better than we imagined. We especially loved the night in the desert and the hotel we stayed in the first night had amazing views! Highly recommend

Our driver Alluli is extremely awesome!! He is funny and has good stamina. Drove for long hours and could still keep chatting with us to keep us entertained during the long journey!

All was as described in advertising. The bus was first rate. The driver was excellent. He drove very carefully and with in the speed limit. Camels were fun and sleeping in the desert was the highlight of our visit.

I went on this 3 day trip - Overall it was a good and enjoyable experience. A few things to note:
1. The tour driver stops for lunch at relatively expensive restaurant. you may want to carry some sandwiches for first day lunch and snacks and water - Try to buy water from smaller shops rather than the hotels, as its cheaper and helps small traders.
2. The hotel on the first night was freezing cold November. It also gets really cold in the desert. Do carry sufficient warm clothes. You can only take a knapsack on the camel and need to leave the rest of your luggage overnight in the van.
3. When you come to the lodge, after the night in the desert, please ask demand for a room incase you need a shower. Some of us never got this offer.
4. Day 3 - is a 11 hour drive back to Marrakesh.
5. You will be lured in buying stuff all along - Turbans, carpets.... Please Please bargain.
6. You may want to carry napkins / tissues and water for the desert bit of this trip.
7. Finally, there is NO ENTRANCE FEE for the Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou. The guide charged us 20 MAD supported by the driver as entrance fee. This is a scam and the tour company is part of the problem. The max one needs is to give a tip.
All in all.. enjoyable experience.

It is amazing Value. The places are a fantastic place. First night we stayed not really nice hotel. It was dirty but dinner was really nice. Whatever you drink you will have to pay in the hotel as well. The driver takes you the restaurant which is very expensive so I went to Local family restaurant

I did not have many days to spare in Marrakech. So, for the cost and amount of time spent on this tour, I feel it was right for me. We were taken to experience some of the major tourist sites in that region, stopping along the way for photo opportunities. Our driver knew the area well and we had reasonably ample time to walk around. There were plenty of stops for toilet breaks and meals. The Sahara portion of the trip was a magical experience. You are not obliged to hire a guide at Ait Ben Haddu and you can choose not to buy anything during the shopping stops. Just wiggle your way out of the situation and create a comfortable distance.
I would have given this tour 5 stars but the hotel we stayed in the valley removed the remote control for the aircon from all rooms. It was winter. No heater and no aircon. Needless to say, a lot of us had to put up with the freezing temperature at night despite covering ourselves with layers of thick blankets. I managed to get an hour of sleep only.

Very nice! Many hours 12000 km in total in the car, but our driver, Mohammad, stopped on many great locations and also on our requests. He spoke well english and had an answer to everything.
The dromedar ride experience was also great, Ibrahim was the camel man, very nice guy. Sundown and sunset, riding the dromedar in the desert was wonderful, also the big black sky with million stars and a nice evening at the campfire with drums. Accomodation in the desert was quite comfy!
Negative: accomodation at the two star Kashba de la Valee on our way to the desert. All roms were ice cold, only heating was at the breakfast place. Dinner soup chicken tangine was low standard. Not possible to get water to drink, only to buy cola etc. Breakfast was simple, but ok.

We enjoyed it and thought it was good value for money. But the bus ride on the last day is very long (about ten hours). Secondly, little choice is given to you about where to have lunch - you are dropped at a (touristy) restaurant and expected to eat there. Lastly, the included guide is not included

I wish there was a 3.5. Our driver/guide took us to several stopovers without telling us the name as per our itinerary. We had to ask from time to time where we were at just to confirm. On the second day, we were taken to a field midday where we had to stop and take a walk by a so-called guide. The so-called guide was nice, but I think that stopover was irrelevant. We ended the so-called walk in a carpet shop! When we left that place, the so-called guide joined us when we were driven to a restaurant before we hit off Todra Gorge. The so-called guide was offering his services. We told the driver that we weren't interested in the guide and we're not hungry yet. This is where the HUGE miscommunication took place. The so-called guide got out and then the driver drove away. When we asked him about Todra Gorge, he said that we were already driving away because we said we didn't want to see it. Total miscommunication, as we just said we weren't interested in the guide and we're not hungry! We didn't want to miss something that we actually paid for! We couldn't go back that day because if we did, we would have totally missed the sunset at the Sahara. Somewhere along the rest of the drive, the military stopped us and we later on found out that our driver was said to be overspeeding. He said that the meter must be faulty for this to occur.
Fast forward to the day after, our driver was replaced with a better one! We were taken to the Todra Gorge and even to a view point where we can have a panoramic view of the Berber villages! Not only that, we arrived quickly and effortlessly in Marrakesh!
The tour overall was amazing, given that we were able to accomplish our main destination! I just hope that for the succeeding tours, the driver/guides get better!

I would like to offer my opinion on your Sahara desert tour. We went on the tour the first week of October, 2016, and booked the deluxe upgrade. Although the scenery was spectacular, and the tent in the Sahara desert was beautiful, there are a number of items that are being promised in your description, that aren't present.
Right from the beginning, correspondence with the tour office was difficult. We could not reach anyone to confirm our pick up point, and as our hotel was in the Medina, it was unaccessible by vehicle. The email that was sent to us said the pick up point would be the nearest accessible Square, but the driver arrived at Jamaa Al Fna, which was not the closest one. There was quite a bit of confusion with us running back-and-forth from one Square to the other.
The next concern was the driver/guide. Although our driver was a very nice man, his English was very limited. He was definitely not a guide. He didn't say more than 10 sentences in English all the way to the desert. He spent the majority of his time either on his cell phone, or speaking French or Arabic with the passengers in the front two rows. When I ask a question in English, he gave one word answers. He didn't keep us updated as to when we would be making rest stops, lunch stops, or how far we had to go. We would have liked to had some information on the towns were driving through, as well as the scenery we received. None of that was offered. Out of a group of 13 of us, only one spoke Arabic and two spoke French. The rest of us were English speaking, and did not receive any information. This was very disappointing.
Concerning the hotel stop on the first night: your literature reads that our group would be met by a friendly hotel owner. This certainly wasn't the case. The gentleman behind the counter was surly and abrupt. The rooms were substandard, and had very little hot running water. Not enough for two showers. The deluxe rooms were exactly like the standard rooms. There was definitely

Whilst it was an amazing experience, was disappointed in the services provided. We paid extra for a premium package which we didn and #39;t get (shared tent, no a/c in hotel). Our tour guide was lovely however only took us to overpriced tourist restaurants. I would recommend venturing out.
