Amazing and fun. Swimming in the cenotes is an experience everyone should have.

We loved this excursion! An amazing time swimming in 3 different cenotes and the trip there was very interesting too, passing through several villages and seeing Mayan ruins and historic churches. Our guide was great - friendly and he spoke good English.

The tour itself was amazing! I'm giving the tour FIVE stars because the Cenotes are definitely breathtaking and the ride on the carriage was a very unique experience. However, we were very disappointed and dissatisfied with the tour guide/driver we had. His name is Cesar and works for Maya Tours. We were the only 2 people in the tour and he mentioned several times that she was not supposed to work that day and all he wanted to do was spend the day with his family. He is a wreckless driver with a very vulgar sense of humor who thought making dirty jokes to me and my husband was a good idea. I do recommend this tour but I would would make sure you request a more professional tour guide.

Great day our guide, Cesar, clearly enjoys his job and has a great rapport with locals at Acanceh. The cenotes are beautiful, and I would definitely recommend swimming in the largest of them.

This trip was operated by Mayaland tours. The tour itself was very good: The tour guide was knowledgable and accommodating. The cenote experience was very enjoyable. We had no issue with the tour operator, but rather with Viator, the entity that acts as a 'middleman'. Viator's communication with us, and with the tour operator was abysmal. Members of our group would not have been picked up but for the efforts or other members. Viator persistently refused to answer e-mails and passed problem solving to the tour operator. So, my recommendation is take the tour, but skip Viator. Viator is an inept organization that subtracts rather than adds value to the transaction.

Our tour guide was Agosto.Nice enough but not charismatic. When they say stop by the acanceh ruins, Gothic church, and hacienda, they weren and #39;t kidding. More like drive by, never get out, can and #39;t take pictures and get a little info. The denotes were the highlight but I and #39;m sure there are better denotes tours.

The cenotes were wonderful, but otherwise I was disappointed in this tour. Our guide was pleasant, but he did not speak English very well at all. He was dressed very casually and appeared to be driving his own car I would have hesitated to go with him except that he had the appropriate paperwork with him. We totally skipped the first two stops on the tour the pyramid of Acanceh and Spanish Church in Cuzama. We did stop briefly at the pyramid on our return trip at my request, but a tour of the pyramid was only offered by a local guide at an additional cost. We returned to Merida by 2:00 pm in the afternoon. Even the other two tourists young men from Mexico City were surprised at the brevity of the tour, since we weren't scheduled to be back until 4:30.
