The John's Hall Montego Bay Adventure Tour was so captivating. As we rode through the rural areas, we could see the country side and learn so much about the people, their housing as well as the local economy. I think the highlight of our tour was the visit to Mount Olive Basic School. The children were so precious and loving. We, as Americans, take so much for granted but these babies were so happy in their homeland and eager to learn. We witnessed things such as families washing clothes in the local streams. Also, we observed students of different grade levels walking home from school. They seemed so happy and walked along the streets interacting with one another. This trip is worthy of being recorded in a journal to be shared with others for years to come.

This was an ideal tour for us. We were interested in learning about the culture of Jamaica. Michelle did a wonderful job telling us about the history of the community and answering questions. She had a vast knowledge of the people, plant life, and community at large. Seeing the conditions at the school was eye opening. A very worthy place to make regular charitable donations. The lunch at John's Hall was delicious! All the food was raised on the grounds. Learning about the various vegetation was also very interesting The roads were narrow and not paved. The driver did a wonderful job of navigating the many potholes and getting us safely to and from the bush. I loved viewing the small shops and Jamaican people going about their daily routines. No, this isn't ziplining or cliff diving. However, it was a wonderful way to enhance our knowledge of the island and it's people. Thank-you Michelle for a great time.

there was a mix up in time - My confirmation said 9:00 but there were no tour guides. At 9:45 we were told that we were to join the tour group inside that was thru the boat that would leave at 10:00. With that behind us - the tour was great. the tour guide and driver were excellent. Great way to find out about the island itself. Don't plan on having much time at the beach - you can only fit so much in 4 hours.

I especially enjoyed this tour because I had the opportunity to visit a school. At the school, the children performed for us and were just delightful to talk to. I especially enjoyed this part of the tour, because I am an educator. The knowledge shared about the various types of fruit and sampling the fresh fruit was also nice. The inclusion of lunch right on the grounds was an added perk also. The tour guide was excellent and the workers were all very nice.

It was pleasant to get out in the countryside and see rural life and nature. There are really no spectacular sights, and the word "adventure" may be misleading if you have the concept of adventure travel as physically demanding. The driver/guide was informative and pleasant, and the meal delicious.

Because we were over in Negril in the off season the company would not honor their agreement to pick us up at our hotel. We had to pay the taxis to drive us to Montego Bay. Once on the tour, the people and locations were great

First we visited a church, then a school and the final stop was John's Hall. Our tour guide was very informative and lunch at John's Hall was very good. It was nice to go off the beaten path and see the Jamaican country side.
