Our guide, David, made this trip extra special. He was so knowledgable and entertaining. Great place to visit if you're ever in Korea!

We were being picked up at our hotel at 8am. They were running 10 minutes late and called the hotel to let us know. The guide on our tour spoke good English. Our first stop was Imjingak . We only had 15 minutes there, I wish that we had more time. The next stop was the Third Tunnel. This was my favorite stop of the trip. Note that you cannot take your camera into the tunnel. Definitely bring a 500 won coin to use in the telescope at the Dora Observatory to view North Korea up close. We did the tour with lunch that was at an authentic Korean restaurant. The only thing I didn't like was that we had to stop at a Duty Free shop near Seoul Station before the tour ended for those without lunch, and before we went to lunch. I know this is a way they make money, but I'd rather not stop there, or at least have less time there and more at the actual DMZ sites.

Great tour leader, Chloe. She was very knowledgeable and entertaining.
Good value for the money. Really enjoyed the lunch seemed very authentic!
Somehow, I thought we would also be visiting an area where we would be closer to seeing actual military and guards.

Excellent tour, half day was about right for us. They were nice combination of organized yet a little flexible one son working in Korea, running late, they were very cool about that. Tour guides were clever and knowledgeable. All in all a great experience. Only minor downside is they finish at some ginseng store pretending to be a museum, where you are treated to a hard sell did you know ginseng can cure just about everything, even cancer?. But I suppose they have to make a few extra dollars somehow - apart from that the whole experience was definitely worth it.

Good tour. you have some nice views. Just do this when you are in Seoul. Guide was friendly i forgot his name and had a lot fo info to tell us. The only reason I give 3 stars is the weird and awkward visit to the Ginseng 'museum'. we just needed to buy something there I think.....we had to walk through 2 stores where they sold ginseng before we could get out. really strange and uncomfortable also because everybody wanted to go home and eat soemthign...I expect this in Indonesia, Thailand etc but not in Korea! please do not visit this ginseng store again!

The tour is nice if you want to learn about the history. The tunnel is not worth going down for. It's hard for those who don't regularly exercise to walk back out. But overall it was nice to hear the history.

The tour was good and very informative. I wish there more time to look at the artifacts in the DMZ hall and be able to read the information that was posted under each one.

Interesting tour, though it lasted longer than expected, mostly because we were brought to an overpriced shop in Seoul where we had to waste 20 minutes at the end of the tour, so the tour guide could get a kickback.

Comprehensive tour of the DMZ which at times did feel rushed and a disproportionate time spent at different places. Also be sure to double check your pick up as there was a mix up with her hotel name and we had to take a taxi to meet the tour bus. Overall though I enjoyed the tour and would say that it was value for money.

We were picked up on time at our hotel, but were the first to be picked up and spent the next hour or so going to other locations to pick up other guests. The tour itself is very interesting and is really a must do whilst in South Korea, the tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable but we had great difficulty understanding her English.

Angie was a fabulous tour guide! Seeing the 3rd tunnel was by far the best part of the tour and it was informative.

I will say the main downfall was going to the ginseng company and feeling like we were being pressured into buying products. I'm sure the tour company has a contact with this company, but it felt like a scam.

It was an ok tour and interesting to see but spent over 1 hour collecting others from hotels. Also 1/2 hour at a government ginseng centre. The 1/2 day tour also does not go into the DMZ, so while it was ok it may be better to do a full day tour or more efficient private tour
