We will be picked up from your Singapore hotel and start the tour at Geylang Serai Market - The Malays had been living in Singapore longer than the Chinese and the Indians, Geylang became a Malays community in the 1840s. To experience Geylang Serai the authentic way, visit the Geylang Serai Market & Food Centre. This bustling market is one of the best markets to visit in Singapore!

Here are some of our local Singaporeans' all time favorite dishes:

Roti Prata is an all time local Singaporean dish for breakfast, lunch, dinner or supper! It is with Indian Origin. There are a variety of flavors where you can have it plain, with eggs, with eggs and onions. Some hawkers served it with cheese or ice-cream as well.

Thosai is a South Indian pancake. Baking begins with a batter of rice flour and pulses which needs to be fermented for at least eight hours.

Teh Tarik: The drink’s name means “pulled tea” in Malay, a reference to how it is made.

Our next stop is Joo Chiat & Katong. Joo Chiat has a vibrant Peranakan and Eurasian heritage, and in many intimate ways, it is also a multicultural and multi-religious hub. Known for its great street foods, it has also begun to see a more eclectic mix of East-West restaurants and 24-hour kopitiams. Joo Chiat has been designated a conservation area along with other historic sites such as Chinatown, Little India and Emerald Hill.

As one of the country’s best foodie destinations, Joo Chiat & Katong is also well-loved by many Singaporeans. Your culinary choices are endless: explore cool cafes that sit next to old-world coffee shops selling the famous Katong 'laksa',and other Nonya delicacies. Sampling of Nonya delicacies: Laksa, Ondeh-Ondeh and Popiah.
