This tour is so much more than a food tour. Rene was an excellent guide who gave us a huge amount of interesting information and showed us lots of places of interest. We had a great selection of food to try - make sure you are hungry when you go! We would highly recommend this tour.

We did the Singapore Hawker centre food tour of Chinatown. It was a wonderful experience. Rene is a fabulous and informative host, sharing his extensive knowledge of both the food, but also the history, culture and political life of Singapore. Don and #39;t eat before this tour! The food is generously supplied. I highly recommend this tour. You will have a wonderful time.

This tour is great fun! Our guide navigated us through the stalls, picking out interesting dishes and explaining the food and history as we chowed down. Speaking of history, the tour includes lots of information about Singapore and its evolution. A trip across the street to the Singapore City Gallery supplied interesting visuals to historic facts. The guide was knowledgeable and I was amazed how much more I learned and enjoyed the stalls, than when I went on my own. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful tour! Rene was such an informative guide and taught us so much about the history of Singapore. We expected the usual, walking through hawker centers and trying local fare, but this tour was so much more. Highly suggest this tour!!

Excellent tour. Rene was entertaining, knowledgeable and informative in an enthusiastic manner. Well worth the fee. Better to take the MRT than a taxi as easier to find the meeting spot from within the station than without.

Excellent tour of Chinatown, South Bridge road and the Singapore City Gallery.Really enjoyed the variety of food, and Renee was fun and very informative. Maxwell street Hawker Centre and Chinatown complex were great with lots of variety and can't wait to return on our next visit. Will look for other Viator food tours on our next holiday too, a great way to get to know a new location.

Fantastic Tour! Our tour guide Renee was full of interesting facts and information about Singapore in general. We learnt a great deal more about Chinatown than just the amazing food within. Highly recommended and Renee will cater to your needs. Look forward to going on another tour again one day!

This tour was very informative and interesting but I felt it was very expensive especially when the next day I did a free tour with Footprints and was given water to begin and some food to sample at the end!

Great guide, great food but I think an option is needed that's purely a food tour. While the City Gallery was interesting, we spent way longer there than I cared for - Singapore facts overload.

Guide provided assistance beyond that required by the excursion. Was very good at describing the background of the foods sampled. I might even take the tour a second time.

Unfortunately this was a very disappointing 'food tour. Three cheap and bland dishes were shared among 6 people, we were walked over to the Cultural centre which is free entry and given a very lengthy
talk by the guide on Singapore which we could have done ourselves. Then returned to the Hawkers Market and sampled another very few dishes between the group. Compared to other food tours where you constantly sample many individual and interesting tastes, we expected our guide to focus more on the cuisine of famous Singapore food. This was not reflective of the Singaporean food experience we hoped for.
