Great guide - loved Alfredo! Very good tour and well managed. Enough time and detail at each place without feeling bored and rushed. Definitely recommend.

A very long day, but the two sites were so well worth seeing. Good to be able to find our own way round the Roman Villa, after an interesting description from Santos first.

Whilst this is a long day tour, I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Sicily. The Valley of the Temples is a much larger area than we were expecting In a good way and the Roman Villa mosaics amazing. The tour also gives you a chance to explore more of the countries scenery. My mum is disabled on crutches so is slower, Elizabeth our guide was fantastic and walked with her whilst we had our tour from the local guide.

Worthwhile experience. A lot of walking between the temples on a very hot day. Bring lots of water with you. Enjoyed Villa Romana del Casale and the mosaic baths in the afternoon.

I found this day trip absolutely fascinating. Our guides were totally professional and informative. The temples are an amazing window into the past. The Roman Villa and the 3500 sq meters of mosaic simply blew me away. It is a relaxing but incredibly interesting day trip.

Välplanerat rakt igenom.Mycket pedagogiska guider både den lokala och den som reste med oss hela tiden. Alldeles lagomt tempo. Ger mycket mersmak- vill komma igen. Verkligen nå´t att minnas.

Places visited were amazing. Villa Romana was a delight to see. The best example of roman mosaics ever seen. Guide was professional and local guide very knowledgably Temples Only. Really needed local guide at Villa Romana and more time as only had an hour there. Be prepared for a long trip. Day lasted 14 hours and we were travelling by coach for approximately 9 hours. But well worth it. We enjoyed our day.

I loved the tour but it is really long hours. The driver and our tour guide were very good. The only problem I had was at Agrigento the tour should have lasted more than an hour less-there were people asking a lot of questions in front of every item, in the scorching heat, and I think the tour guide should have been more stern and prompt. Overall the two archaeological sites are amazing! I was very impressed with the driver who drove long hours and despite that he did a great job!

This tour is a window to the past. Agrigento temples and Villa Romana del Casale are amazing. Our guides were so kind. Just a little concern: the journey from/to Taormina is extenuating!!

The trip was very enjoyable! The Valley of the Temples and Villa Romana were both awesome. This trip only received a four star rating due to two factors. First, we were picked up 45 minutes late. Not impressed! Secondly, the lunch stop was 90 minutes which is fine. The problem was it was in a place that there was nothing to browse at or see after lunch. Waiting around after lunch was quite boring. If we stayed at the temple area, people could have had lunch and shopped if they liked to kill time.

Great tour guide, Great lunch place with the option to eat at restaurant or bistro. The piazza Armenia was amazing. Perhaps if we could have bought some water bottles on the bus as the day was really hot and we really needed to have had more water.

This was a long long day from Taormina. Having seen the photos of the Valley of the Temples site the 'real thing' wasnt adding anything extra. The Villa on the other hand was stunning. There were so many rooms that were decorated it was unbelievable.

Ruins are good but not exceptional. Villa Romana is great. The tour is worth doing though the road is quite tiring.

Firstly, on a purely practical note, take a small bottle of water when walking around the Temples and also a snack of some sort. It's hot and takes about two hours and breakfast was a while ago. We also wished we had eaten the packed lunch we took rather than eat the 'lunch' that was on offer.
We arrived at the bus station at 5.45am as they asked us to be there by 6am and the coach left at 6.30am so there's no need to panic It's a very comfortable coach with air conditioning. You can't eat breakfast on the coach so it's worth knowing that there is a stop for breakfast and the loo at a motorway station at about 8.30 am. It's a long drive - about 3 hours in total, including the stop for breakfast. The Valley of the Temples is absolutely worth it though - they are huge and awe inspiring and surrounded by superb countryside and views of the sea in the distance and we were lucky to have an excellent tour guide for the morning. Our 'coach' guide was lovely but very talkative. .
Then we were taken to a beach restaurant for lunch with a choice of menus. The area where the restaurant is was about twenty minutes away and set on a beach. It's in a very poor, light industrial area but the beach, though windy, was silver sand and deserted. I ordered spaghetti with a tomato and basil sauce which translated to bottled pasatta and a tiny basil leaf on top of some pasta. Someone had a mozzarella salad which was a Pyrex bowl with chopped iceberg lettuce and a ball of mozzarella on the top . Pretty dire to be honest. A packed lunch would have been much better. The wine was ok though - it cost us about 16 each.
The Roman Villa is about an hour and a half from there. It is absolutely stunning. The mosaics were massive, almost perfectly preserved and of such beauty and skill that this visit alone was worth the trip. There are loos and places to eat if you're hungry.
The trip home was about three hours non stop and we arrived home at about 8pm. A long day but wo

Circuit tres interessant ,effectué avec des excellent guides de SAT. Même remarque que pour le voyage au Stromboli : pour le même prix un service mediocre de Viator.

I liked this tour the most from all visited, only thing was that the bus picked us in half an hour delay and then we have spend lots of time picking up others on the trip.

This was a very long day ...6.30 am and I was back to my hotel after 10minute walk from bus stop at 8.15 pm. But a very memorable day and saw some of the best of sicily. The lunch break stop gave 2 food options or bring a picnic to eat on the beach.
