This was the most fantastic day and worth every cent. Our guide Ikumi was the most beautiful and caring lady, who helped us with so many other things - not just relating to the tour. Ikumi was informative, professional and friendly. We visited the sights we had nominated as well as many other places she included along the way. Ikumi also went an hour and a half longer than the tour was meant to go for. I would give this tour and Ikumi 5 starts and recommend it to anyone considering it.

Our guide, Meg, was very knowledgable and flexible for our group of eight. A great introduction to Tokyo, it's history and culture.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the various sites that we went to see. We chose the half day tour, which was set at a nice pace for us. It was our first day in Tokyo and our tour guide helped explain the subway and rail systems which was very helpful since we used subway's for our entire trip. We chose to see the fish market and the gardens and topped it off by riding the monorail. She explained facts about Japan and Japanese life all along the way. It was a great tour.

Fantastic and well worth the money. Meg was knowledgable, delightful and flexible. She spent extra time answering our questions and showing us the metro.
A great thing to do the first day in Tokyo. We got a flavor of Tokyo and Meg helped us pick places to return to another day. She was making sure we were comfortable giving us water and finding a place to just relax and take in the culture.
Yeah Meg!

We booked this private tour for our first full day in Tokyo and are so glad that we did! Our guide was super friendly and accommodating we went during the hottest season, and the temperature was around 97 degrees that day we made multiple cafe stops to cool off. She toured us through Akihabara, Ginza, Shinjuku, Kabukicho, and Yanata. The tour was super helpful is orienting us to Tokyo's subway system, which proved very useful for the rest of our vacation. Our lunch that day soba noodles was super delicious as well, and we wouldn't have found it without our guide.

It's a bit pricey but is definitely worth it especially in my case travelling with 2 young kids 6 and 1 yr old. Meg guide and Tanaka san driver were excellent and very friendly!

If you are visiting Tokyo or Japan without a travelling companion who can speak/ understand Nihonggo and wants some personal touch in your Tokyo experience, this is a must! Meg helped us big time to have a better appreciation of Tokyo- the city, food, culture, and its people!

We had a wonderful excursion around Tokyo with our guide. She guided us around the vast Tokyo metro system to many places of interest. One of the highlights was lunch at an authentic sushi restaurant in the sprawling fish market area.

This tour was wonderful. My guide Ikumi was great. She was very nice and knowledgable. She took me around Tokyo and made me feel as if I was touring around Tokyo with a friend. We went to the major highlights and she also took me to places I may be interested in. Thank you again Ikumi.

The local guide, Sylvia, arrived at my hotel on time and we began the day tour of Tokyo. The transport vehicle was clean and the driver knew exactly where to go. Sylvia was friendly, informative, easy to understand and knew the subject matter. We were finishing a bit early so she added a few extra locations and sights to see. I was most pleased with the tour and heartily recommend it.

We had our full day private tour in Tokyo with Meg and it was great. Meg is very friendly and knowledgeable and really gave us a great tour of many areas in Tokyo.
The Fish Market was a sight to see and we saw Shrines and Temples as well as different shopping neighborhoods. Our lunch in a restaurant in Ginza was fantastic.
I highly recommend this tour for any first timer going to Tokyo.

We personalized our tour, and started out getting an orientation to the metro system. Huge help in learning our to purchase tickets, read maps, and just generally get around Tokyo. Then our guide led us to some great landmarks. It was an invaluable way to start our first full day in Tokyo on our first visit. Loved how we could tailor this to our interests and needs. Great! WE did the tour on foot.

Meg is wonderful and an excellent guide! We had the full day with public transportation. She customized the tour to our interests and provided us with great suggestions for the rest of our stay. It was helpful being introduced to Toyko by a local, from the public transportation, different neighborhoods, to local customs. She really made our stay and experience so much better! She's so sweet and just an amazing person. I highly recommend!

This is a great option to see Tokyo. Our tour guide, Meg was great!! She is knowledgeable, professional, friendly. We really enjoyed our tour. I highly recommend this tour to anyone that is looking to see the city and all you have is a very limited time to stay in this wonderful city.

Lot of walking. 25000 steps. That's the hard part. But our guide was simply superb. She knew the books and crannies of Tokyo. The itinerary was customized right at the start of the day. We had delicious hot ramen at a noodle bar. Great coffee on a cold morning in a scenic cafe at Akihabara. She shared a lot of history related to the Meiji shrine and the Asakusa area. Much better than a bus ride sightseeing.

Meg is an outstanding guide. She is very knowledgeable, fun to be with, and considerate of the client's wishes and comfort. I did not feel rushed by her in anyway. I wish I could have afforded to have her guide me a second day.

Forgot our guides name but she was fantastic met us at the hotel explained where we were going and such. Was interesting to speak to her about Japanese culture and how and where she grew up and took us around all the places we wished to see. Was al so brilliant in helping explain the underground and ticketing. You can also add on a calligraphy class which we did I would highly recommend this as its was one on one reaching and a history lesson about the language then lots of writing words you also get to keep a selected word which you write.

Very amazing tour. Meg was very helpful and goes out of her way to make the tour more fun.

Would do this again.

Excellent Tour. Meg was a fantastic tour guide. Extremely friendly and helpful and completely fluent in English. We learned and saw things that we would have missed otherwise. We took the public transport trip which was great as it prepared us for travelling on it ourselves. Recommended and well worth the money!

We did the half day tour with Silvia. I'm glad we did it as she prepared us for using the subway and showed us places that we wouldn't have found ourselves. Well worth having a guided tour as there are so many things to do and places to go. When we got hungry she knew a great ramen place too. Thanks Silvia!

Our guide (Silvia Regina Yamawaki) was absolutely excellent. Her English was extremely good and she was very understanding of my disabilities which made it difficult for me to walk as far or as fast as my wife. We both had a great day and will recommend you to our friends and colleagues.
