This was a fun and interesting tour. I learned a lot about glass blowing and the hands on was a great way to end the tour.

My family and I had a great time on this tour. Ludo, our tour guide, was very helpful and informative. We enjoyed the glass demonstration with the glass master and my daughter was chosen to assist. Definitely an unforgettable memory!

We overslept and thought we missed out on our tour. But they came and picked us up!! The glass factory is incredibly impressive and an all around great trip!

We loved the tour. It was a Sunday so much calmer than usual. Especially enjoyable was participating in the glass blowing.

Very good time. We were able to explore the oldest church in Murano on the walk to the glass factory, The factory had many great pieces and it was fun to watch the glass master create a few pieces of art in front of us.

Must do tour! Very informative and fun to watch. The best thing was getting to make a bracelet at the end which I got to keep. My sister was actually one of the volunteers that got to help the glass master when he made a fish. She was able to purchase the fish at the end, a great keepsake to remember her time in Venice.

Amazing to see technique used to make glass into a beautiful piece of artwork.

This was a really fun experience for my 9 year old, who collects glass figurines. We made nice bracelets, got a demonstration of glass making, and were welcomed kindly by the factory owners. We were able to shop the very large show room.

It was nice. We were the only family on the tour so it was a private tour. Guide was very warm and welcoming. He led us from Campo S. Bartolomeo on the public ferry to his family's Murano glass factory. The demonstration of glass blowing was approx 30 minutes. The factory was closed August holiday so there wasn't a lot of manufacturing going on. Then we got to string beads to make a bracelet or necklace. This was nice activity for the children. Finally, tour ended with ability to shop in the factory store. It was a nice, organized tour, and received nice demo on glass making. Content of the tour was a little light though but probably much better than just going to Murano on your own.

I just have to say that I had been to Murano once before and I had a free demonstration of glass blowing. The reason I booked this tour was I though it would be more authentic. I though the workshop would be something involved with actually manipulating the glass somehow during the process that it is being molded into a form. Why I thought that I am not sure because it would be quite dangerous especially for kids. Nonetheless I was disappointed to have the choice between making a mosaic on a wooden cutout of a leaf or heart, and making my own bracelet with Murano beads, which did not particularly interest my husband or son. My daughter loved it and I knew she would. I quite enjoy wearing my own bracelet that I put together. My daugher's bracelet attachments came apart within the first day so my husband fixed it.
The tour does not include fare to the island but a man met us from a designated spot and we went on our way. Honestly I don't think we needed to pay so much being able to bead our own bracelets, and the inital tour guide to Murano wasn't especially necessary either.
