Altamente recomendável. Fomos com um panorama de neve e vimos paisagens incríveis. Foi excelente a prestação do nosso motorista Nick! Ele foi uma boa companhia e ensinou-nos muito! Teve também uma condução muito segura.
The tour was great there was plenary of time to look at all the sights and get photos The guide was knowledgeable and very attentive. Giving up lots of time at each stop and even took us off the main road to look at Scotland at its best Recommended It is a long day but well worth it.
The tourist guide was knowledgable and funny. If you’re expecting a breathtaking and spectacular scenery, you may want to check a different kind of package tour. The trip was too long and not worth spending the whole day on the road in my opinion. I prefer the Golden Circle tour.
Scotland's highlands are so beautiful and there's so much to see that I wished we could have stopped at far more places besides the ones we did such as other castles and palaces, beautiful road views... Although Loch Ness is interesting, it's only one more lake and the tour is a bit too long "only" to see it.
The Highlands simply magical. Charles the guide make the trip alive with his many stories and the music he played to accompany the journey was magic. There was a want to know the history of Scotland even more.... simply magical. However, I will personally skip the cruise and walk around Loch Ness instead and soak in the beauty of the place
All in all, I was very happy to have chosen this trip. It was a good way to see some iconic places of the Scottish Highlands. Our guide, Mairi, did a very good job to share some very interesting insights into the culture, geography, history of the Highlands! Also, she made the trip even more entertaining. It was nice that we made stops in several beautiful places to take photos and explore a bit. I only wished we had more time to explore even further.
This is a very long tour to Loch Ness, a 550 kms ride which in my opinion is not really worth it. You pass through Glencoe, where, in our guide's own words, you'll find beauty. This was true, the views in Glencoe are awesome and totally made up for the uninspiring Loch Ness. The ride was comfortable and our guide knew his stuff, but Loch Ness is too far and the trip too long. If you have plenty of days available in Edinburgh and don't know what else to do, then this tour might be a good idea. But if not, your time will be better spent walking in old town Edinburgh.
The tour was very educational and entertaining. James had a great balance of stories about history, ancestors behaving badly, and the countryside we were passing through. We learned a lot about the things which shaped the character of the Highland people as well as modern culture. Seeing Doune Castle where Monty Python's Holy Grail was filmed, even for a moment between the trees, was a highlight, as were the stops in the charming towns along the journey. Only thing missing was the castle on Loch Ness. A great day spent!
