This was an Incredible Tour. Glass Bottom Cable Car was worht the extra. The boat ride through the fishing village and into the China Sea was AWESOME!! This was a tour of a lifetime for me. The Giant Sitting Buddha was Stunning.
This was an amazing tour, the guide was very informative. I decided to skip the lunch for more time to explore the Giant Buddha and met up with the group at a specified time- this was enjoyable. The cable car ride and the views were well worth the time. The fishing village and market was quite interesting with few unique shops. I would highly recommend.
An amazing day - highly recommend the crystal car upgrade as the views up to the top of Lantau island we amazing. The lunch at the monastery was very good and the scenery was stunning. A fantastic escape from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong island/Kowloon with abundant character and tremendous photo ops
Pickup from hotel was really good. Access to cable car, Buddha and Tia O fishing village was great. Guide was really nice but not as accomplished and knowledgeable as expected. If you want convenient transport with good access this is the trip for you. If you want a trip with more detail and information this is not the trip for you. Not sure it was worth the money!
It was a casual day, not too tiring as you get driven to all the places without having to worry about the stress on how to get there especially if you are not good with the Chinese language. The guide, Ricky Martin was great, told us a lot about Hong Kong city and other information while travelling 40mins in the bus to the bottom of the Cable Car ride to The Big Buddha. We paid a bit more to go on the crystal glass cable car. It was nice to be able to see the vegetation below. If you are scared of heights, oppout and go on the normal cable car. We enjoyed the serenity of the Big Buddha and the vegetarian lunch at the Poh Lin Monastry was surprisingly very fresh and tasty usually when you are taken to group tour lunch like the tour we did to Macau, the food was very average. We enjoyed the chance to have vegetarian food as our diet since arriving in HK had been lacked of vegetables. We walked up to the Big Buddha, a whole about 268 steps during our own time. If it is too hard for you, when we met up, a bus took us up there. After the Big Buddha, we drove to Tai O where we took a small boat to view the fishermans village on stilts, the then went out to see the pink dolphins, babies are grey in colour and pink is because their skin is so light, the blood vessels causes the skin to look pink. Majority of the time, it is difficult to spot them swimming in the area.
An enjoyable trip and we have ticked the box. While going up on the cable car, you can see Hong Kong airport.
