I hope I spelled his name correctly. My favorite experience in NOLA and also my best meal! It was entertaining, informative and funny. If ever in NOLA again would take the hands on class. Well worth the price many times over.
This experience was worth every minute. Chef Matt was amazing and informational and the food and service were memorable.....Can't wait to get home and try these new recipes and spices on my friends and family.
What a wonderful experience! Anne was an outstanding host and cook and provided excellent history about New Orleans! Food was outstanding! One of the best experiences. We thoroughly enjoyed the cooking class. Don't miss this one!
We learned so much from this demonstration about Creole and Cajun cooking. First lesson, how to make a roux and the uses of various roux. Excellent. We got to see how Gumbo, Jambalaya, and Pralines are made, and then we got to sample them. I also bought a lot of cooking stuff at their store. A great experience and well worth the cost.
Harriet was our chef, and she was amazing. She provided us with the New Orleans' rich history on their food and culture. She taught the class with such passion that you wanted more. She was funny and interjected tales of her own family. We just loved her!
