What a wonderful experience! Anne was an outstanding host and cook and provided excellent history about New Orleans! Food was outstanding! One of the best experiences. We thoroughly enjoyed the cooking class. Don't miss this one!

I enjoyed the demonstration. I was not aware that roux could change color the longer it's cooked and would have a different flavor depending on its color. The gumbo was a bit spicy, but still delicious. I loved the pralines and jambalaya. The instructor was funny and easygoing. I would recommend this class to anyone unfamiliar with New Orleans cooking.

We had fun while we watched and a wonderful meal. I will make gumbo at home. The shop had a great variety of cookbooks and products. Plus chocolate pralines. YUM!

The presentation was excellent and enjoyable. The information about food and New Orleans history was a fun learning bonus. The food was wonderful and he made it look easy. We will see if I can do it myself. :)

Pat was adorable. Not only did we learn to cook gumbo, jambalaya, bread pudding and pralines, we learned the history of how different countries contributed to make these delicious dishes.

It was not interactive and I expected it to be. Maybe I missed this in the enrollment on line, thus could be my mistake, none the less I was disappointed. He also gave us a two hour history less versus a cooking lesson. Although, it was interesting, it is not what I desired to do. I truly desired to learn to cook the menu items. I learned very little if anything in the class that I did not already know.
