Excursão de dia inteiro com mergulho com snorkel na Ilha Catalina saindo de Punta Cana

The tour was organized well. We wanted to see a little more while snorkeling. Jodi, one of the staff members, was great and made us feel comfortable. The others not so much.

The experience on the island was OK but the boat was not a catamaran. It was a large group w people who were there for scuba diving as well as snorkeling. The amount of time waiting for the scuba divers to get geared up before the snorkeling was ridiculous. Im on vacation I dont want to wait! No personal experience. Too many people on the boat. I felt like a sardine. Definitely not relaxing as I thought it would be. Felt like it was false advertising in their part.

Well worth every cent! The drive was a bit but was also expected. Lots of time to snorkel and swim. Others complained of not seeing lots of fish, but I saw lots and was content. The food was realty good at the beach and once again another great opportunity to snorkel.

If there was one sore spot, it would have been at the end of the day. They had a new driver who did not know his way around and I spent an additional hour on the bus before finally being dropped off. I' m sure they will have that sorted out before this is posted.

Lots of fun and well worth it. Enjoy

Great tour. Bus ride to and from the marina was long but it was worth it.

It started out with us being picked up at our hotel and then to another hotel for more passengers. Vehicle wasn’t big enough for everyone to sit in a seat. We were then transported to a meeting area and put on the wrong bus and had to catch up to correct one. After all that we had a wonderful time.

We had a great time snorkeling and the VIP lobster lunch was awesome and well worth the extra .

This was the best excursion I have ever been on. Jerry was amazing. I got so sea sick on the way to snorkel and on the way to island and Jerry was right there to do everything I needed to feel better. The food on the island was so good especially the lobster that Jerry made him self. The entire day was just great. The drinks were flowing and the laughs were as well. My husband and I would recommend this excursion. The professional photographer was awesome at capturing all the special moments as well.

If I could just rate on food, snorkeling and the sea it would be 5 but unfortunately the overall experience fell short. Transfers there and back are chaotic to say the least. Our morning pick up was 45 minutes late. The change of bus at the transport company's office was marred by a total lack of communication. Chantel's greeting when we finally arrived was lovely. We were then left with the crew and didn't see Chantel again. The crew were nice...although not massively attentive and I think it would be worth getting larger plastic cups for serving drinks in as the ones used are very small...I know this sounds petty but it's so important to keep everyone hydrated on these trips. The exception was the photographer who was brilliant and couldn't do enough.
Snorkeling at the wall was fantastic even though there weren't many fish when we were there. The water is amazing and the coral is beautiful.
Catalina Island is more touristy than we hoped...it's not a private beach, but a designated area of the beach which is also used by loads of other similar groups. The area needs a litter pick doing, and the sun beds were all quite tired, as was the snorkeling gear available...the gear on the boat was excellent though. Again a bit chaotic and we had no idea what was happening. In fact it's free time before lunch. But having started the day at 7.20, we were hungry by this point so some snacks would have been nice. Also, I think bottles of water would be better than tiny cups. Snorkeling at the beach was great and we saw loads of fish...beach shoes recommended though. When lunch finally came, it was brilliant...the lobster was fantastic and would certainly recommend.
After lunch, a bit more free time then back to the mainland where transfers were again completely chaotic. The driver was told half a dozen times which hotels and still took us to the wrong one, and forgot 2 other hotels he was meant to have stopped at.
Overall, a nice enough day, but could be so much better with some attention to detail.
