Perfect! Our hotel was the Sir Francis Drake which was a block away from Union Square with access to two stops with bus going to the Bridge and the other going to the Cannery. The night city tour and Salsolito tour should be a must for anyone visiting SF. Not all the tour buses had live tour guides while others had a substandard earpiece taped message.
I’ve used hop-on buses around the world, but found SF to be disorganised. We were sent to 3 different locations to exchange our Viator tickets...annoying. Some guides were great (African-American man with a wicked laugh), though others talked about themselves and asked for tips every 2nd stop (Beth)
We were in San Francisco during Fleet Week and the Blue Angels shows and while waits were sometimes long caused by the crowds and traffic, I cannot imagine having to deal with the traffic in a rental car. We were able to go everywhere we wanted in San Francisco, to Sausalito and take advantage of the nighttime tour. Staff were quite helpful. If you stay in a hotel on or near Union Square, connections are quite simple.
We really enjoyed this. The pass enabled us to visit heaps of places we wanted to go. Muir Woods and Sausalito, over the Golden Gate Bridge and other tourist sites. The drivers were very careful and great and the tour guides wonderful, excellent knowledge of the city. Can't remember all their names, Don, Maria, Faith, Doc, sorry, I have missed some names! Definitely recommend this!
