It was a great tour. Sonya our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history and current events of Korea. I enjoyed her fun personality and she does a great job with keeping her guests engaged and interactive. She even offered to help take photos which was very nice. The palace and changing guards ceremony was good to see, although would be better in warmer months of blooming season for better photo opportunities. Seoul Tower offered amazing in the sky views of the city and a martial arts performance show. Was lucky enough that the weather was clear. The Buddhist temple was our first stop, but unfortunately you cannot take photos inside out of respect as it is an active place of worship. You will like to walk around the village and folk museum to see how they lived in the past. And of course the food and lunch at Insadong was another highlight of the tour. So much to see and do, I ended up with a colored caricature portrait from a sweet street artist that cost about 18 USD. I think Insadong tends to be one of the more expensive markets, but that's not complaining. Enjoy the moment and make the most of your trip with this great sightseeing tour.

The sights were beautiful and the guides were skilled and friendly, but our overall feeling was one of disappointment since a lot of time was spent on things that didn't had our interest and weren't mentioned up front:

The tour was splitted in a morning and afternoon part, since the rest of our groups had booked different excursions which could be combined with ours. But both parts weren't connected that well, so after lunch we had more than an hour waiting/ free time until the afternoon tour started.

And both, the morning and afternoon tour, had an additional stop planned to the tourist shops of the ginseng shop and the red pine shop. Those stops weren't mentioned up front and resulted in a little hurry at the highlight spots to fit into the program. To our opinion those shops are considered as tourist traps and since both stops took about an hour, for us it gave the feeling of some more wasted time. It should have been better if we knew about these additional stops in front, so we could have booked somewhere else.

Btw: we'd booked another tour DMZ by the same agency and also this tour had an unmentioned long additional stop at the ginseng shop.

Had an amazing time! This was my first time back to Seoul since I was 8 years old. Our pretty tour guide Sonia, was friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. She spoke freely about any subject regarding Korea with surprisingly good English. Some may not like visiting any shops during the tour, but that's all part of the cultural experience. Learned a lot and so glad to have experienced it.

Mia was a great tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and was able to answer whatever questions we had, even if they weren't related to the tour. She also gave us great recommendations for food and entertainment for the rest of the trip. The ban ban chicken she recommended was amazing. You can't go wrong with her.

We've had this tour on feb 03: cold weather but fine and memorable day however, thanks to Sunny as she was a nice, helpful and informative guide all day long.
We were on a three days stop in Korea en route to Fiji and Wallis Island from Paris, so we could not expect comprehensive visits of each monument or museum but we aimed at getting first glances at several sites of interest in Seoul, that this tour allowed us to fulfil.

We could appreciate Jogyesa Temple and Gyeongbokgung Palace, including the National Folkloric Museum, in the morning, ending with the relief of the guard, a performance actually led by students in traditional military dressing.
After lunch we had time for walking and shopping in Insa-Dong before Namsangol Hanok Village and Namsan Seoul Tower.

We recommend this tour and warmly aknowledge Sunny for this enjoyable day.

The tour delivered. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The places were very interesting. The only thing I'd suggest is that the amethyst jewelry visit be dropped. It was obviously a stop to sell amethyst jewelry. There was really no explanation as to what was going on there but a display of jewelry and a man behind a window making jewelry. We stopped at a ginseng establishment and heard interesting information about ginseng and a promotion to buy it but at least some information was presented. I could have visited another historical site.

2 different groups were given 2 different hotel pick up times. We sat in a small bus for 20 minutes waiting for the other group, who didn't even know that they were making us wait. They were ready at the time they had been told. Tour was interesting, guide was good, but we were left to wander on our own at both the palace and the village. We saw other groups with English speaking guides explaining what we were wandering past. The tour also ended almost an hour early. And we still had to go to the Ginseng factory for the high pressure sales pitch.
